I am 3rd base. Got up to AAA because of an injury now I am back down at AA. I am in my first season. What hitting type do yall use? I am pure analog.

So...Just bought another PS3 (last one crapped after 3 years) and picked this up. Being a baseball game vet and all, I figured a quick exhibition game on default sliders would get me familiar with everything. Ummmmm...wrong. My Dodgers just got NO-NOed by Brandon McCarthy. In fact, it was a perfect game. I only whiffed 6 times...hit a few to the track. Kershaw (of all players) got robbed of a single when Cespedes laid out for a weak duck.

I like the pulse pitching...got 6 2/3's out of Kershaw and only gave up 2 runs. I'm definitely going to have to work on my hacks...lol.

I got my wife excited last night lulz. Said baby you should be proud. I got called up to majors and first at bat hit a HR. she jus smiled and hugged me. I said calm down its just a game. Lulz. Think shes comin around a little on me playin games

Online play is killing me. Frames are actually missing in the swing when trying to hit. I do zone hitting and the ball goes opposite direction. Hardly ever any good hits, unless we're all just great pitchers. And it seems only time someone scores is if its a freak accident like over throwing or dropped ball. Etc. or HR. Too many foul balls. And I have noticed sometimes my pitcher throws pitches I didn't pick. Lots of a hole pitchers who won't even throw a ball in hitting zone. Must be the equivalent of ncaa football cheesers. Chat rooms won't work for me. My chats stay n the blue typing bar and won't go in box/ chat room. I mean is this normal stuff, or is this things going to be fixed, or am I just needing to adjust

I may pick it up & like all games I will be playing 99% online. Anything particular to lookout for online or regarding online?

It's not horrible, but needs some adjustments that I posted in my gripes above. That may be normal, I dunno. I haven't played a baseball game since Nintendo. I know its part of baseball, but it really seems most hits are fouls on here. And its the hitters choice to take a pitch or not. But damn some of these pitchers are annoying. I don't have the patience. Which really hurts me in a lot of games lulz. Its not a bad game man. I don't even like baseball and im hooked for now

I see what you are saying................but................in my experience, which is over 30 online games it has been very different. You have to play it like you would if you were actually playing the game of baseball. You have to watch the pitch come out of the pitchers hand and in a split second, you have to recognize what pitch is coming. Take your time, make the pitcher throw you strikes. Baseball is a game of individual battles and you have to win them each time at the plate. If the pitcher knows you will swing at anything, why on earth would he put it in the zone. There isnt a pitch you cant hit that is placed in the zone. My advice...take your time and make it a mandatory must to take the very first pitch at every at bat until he starts throwing strikes the first pitch a few times. I promise you will see better pitches if you wait and let him throw you a strike first. I also have had a different experience with hitting, YOU MUST GO TO YOUR SETTINGS AND CHOOSE LEGEND FOR HITTING AND HOF FOR PITCHING. When you have this set as your settings (Go to user settings in the menu and scroll down to "Online Challenge Settings" and Change the Hitting difficulty to Veteran and the Pitching difficulty to Hall of Fame. Do this for both the "Game Room" and "Play Now" options.) you will see a much better experience playing online. I hope some of this helps and will allow you to enjoy the show online more, because I absolutely love it.
