is anyone else noticing the rediculous names in this years game? i had a guy on the other team just now named "Hyman Punto" check out the definition of these words to see what i'm getting at

Damaso Yo, was one I saw earlier....The names are ridiculous but at least the PA gets them right unlike last years game.

I got my wish year one traded from the Yankees to the Tigers organization. Then, 2 weeks later, traded to the Brewers organization. I finished out season 1 in AA with a .277 average. They moved me up to the AAA Nashville Sound for year two. Second game into the season I tore my ACL legging out a run to 1st. Done for the year. Year 3 2nd week into the season I tore my achellies tendon and was out about half the year. I still managed to bat .314 and the Brewers, in their wisdom, call me up to ride the pine in the Majors. I've played about a month so far into this 4th season and get about one bat every 2-3 games and this really sucks.

I wish an option existed allowing me to REQUEST to stay in the minors. My stats are not where they need to be at all and I'm now in the Majors riding the bench and not getting any attributes. Maybe they'll throw my butt back to AAA for not achieving any goals. But there still should be an option to not move up if you request it.

i had one last night where it had the guys name wrong. by the game it said his name is andy green and i couldn't tell you now what the PA guys called but it sure wasn't andy green

first off, i stopped doing my own base running since i'm too slow to do any base stealing and the game right after i turn off me controlling it, i get benched for a game because my guy decided to try to steal a base without being told to do so. secondly this afternoon i hit what i thought was going to be my first HR of the year. it would have easily cleared the wall by about 4 feet and the LF climbs the call, and by the replay it actually went into his glove but then fell out, down on the warning track. since it was only 1 out the runners held and i was held to just a single. my next two ABs in the same game the announcers are saying that i hit a HR in that AB but i only got credit for a single.

i got the 56 game hit streak, but it didn't give me the 2000 points. WTF?? do you have to do it in the majors or something??

again last night while not controlling the base runner at all, i get benched for 3 games for stealing a base when i shouldn't have. could be kind of an annoying thing if it keeps up. i did finish out my first year in AA ball with a .321 avg and 30-something RBIs and no HR. Started off the new season in AAA ball see we'll see how it goes.

oh well I'll do it again. The weirdest thing happened to me last night. Got called up to the Rockies when the rosters expanded to 40 games. We got first place, went to the playoffs, and I got the message that I wasn't on the roster in August so I couldn't go to the playoffs. Ok, that's understandable. But the next thing I know, I'm pinch hitting in the NLDS. It let me play the whole playoffs. We lost in 6 in the NLCS to the Phils

You may have been added to the 25 man roster as a result of an injury, I think thats the only way that can happen.

I am raking it, though i only play one or two times a week, I think it's because the pitchers keep the ball closer to the zone on pitches away.

I came home to New England and my first hit was a double off the monster, second went into the monster seats. Those bastards will rue the day they traded Steve McQueen.

I've quit playing this and started back on MW2. I am in the middle of year 2 and still stuck in AA.

I would rather be stuck in AA or AAA than being called up to bat twice a week and them not sending me back down to the minors. I am losing skills and its a little bit frustrating. Maybe that's how it is in the "real MLB" though lol.

I got called up 2 week into the season, was playing well, leading ROY voting according to the accolades screen, and was sent down 2nd week of August... I wasnt killing it but a solid 280 with decent defense and such.

Note #2, the 'play as the catcher' is stupid as hell. Even more stupid is my 5'8 170 lb 2B getting time at catcher, besides being boring it quadruples the time it takes to play a game.

this game is crazy sometimes. i'm listed as a "hot" player but i still get benched for A)stealing at will even when i'm not controlling the running and B) for not producing enough since i became a starter in AAA even though i'm hitting .429 with a HR and 17 RBIs in that time span. i also noticed another "glitchish" moment tonight when i hit a blooper over the SS head and because the runners held at 1st and 2nd the runner gets thrown out at 3rd by the LF but i get an 0fer on that AB because it was ruled a fielders choice.

same thing happened to me. Runner got thrown out at 2nd because he held up for some reason and I got a fielders choice.

after a 2 week strech coming off the bench and getting a few starts i got the starting job back only to get traded to the indians AAA organization. the upside is i'm there as the starter and i'm hitting .376 with 3 HRs and 30ish RBIs so hopefully i'll be in cleveland very soon
