If G-Mac isn't ready to start, there's not a lot of great talent out there in the portal which closes in 6 days.

I'm sure we have "sent out feelers" (don't call it tampering) to guys not in the portal but unless those guys are still in the playoffs, we have 6 days to see someone jump in who you DO want.

The portal can close and we can get a player all the way in the spring. The close is just when someone can't enter the portal.

Why is he not ready? He has been on campus 2 years now.He has plenty of time to put on weight and learn the system. Why,Why?

Also, that's a wide gap between those two.
Pribula was 6-1 when he got injured, but yikes something like 16 TDs to 10 or 12 INTs.

I much rather get another backup qb and roll with what we have and take the nil money for more defensive players, but too late for that now

I personally don't see why everyone has the hots for Leavitt. No doubt CJH would help him improve but with his penchant for turnovers and his current injury, it is difficult to believe he is they guy.

Taking Pribula at a discounted rate and spending that money on DT's and LB's will get us more wins, IMO. He can battle it out with the two currently on campus and let the best man win,.

Until defense is fixed doesn’t how good the qb is. And new dc still has to have good players

They can but the QBs in the portal currently are meh or expensive. There's just not a lot there.

Someone can jump in or Joey A may get another year but you can look for yourself at the portal. Outside of the high dollar QBs, Merk may be the best QB in there.

When you know you have to/need to gain weight and you have some high paid nutrient staff giving you a plan to put on correct weight and you still cant do it. Makes me think he has a super hypermetabolism system.

In SEC play 58% completion perc, 3 passing TD and 7 INTs

I trust JH on QBs so interested to see what he would do with this guy
