Missouri Quarterback up Next

It's also possible Josh was right overall in his QB evaluation but not his "who can run my offense" evaluation.

Hooker is either QB3 at the Jets or on the practice squad, it's hard to tell.

Milton is QB2 for the Cowboys.

I agree. Hooker was more dynamic and ran the ball better but it’s hard to hate on Heupel for starting Milton. The kid is a physical specimen, he just couldn’t dial back that cannon. Also, I’ve stated numerous times in other threads that Milton was a “good” quarterback. Had he not followed Hooker the fanbase would have a different opinion of him.

Milton is better now.
Everybody that I heard comment that had been to practices Eric Ainge and a lot of others said Milton was by far the best looking pre season. Did not translate to the field. Also a lot of those same ppl were saying Jarrett G was killing it in practice but it did not translate when the bullets fired in live action. Some are gamer's , some are not, its why its harder to watch a Freshman or a RS Freshman and say he's ready when he's never faced top P4 live bullet rushes. Versus looking at a portal QB that has faced P4 for a season.

So? He wasn’t really well known. It wasn’t like he was a huge name in the portal. Look there are plenty of talented QBs out there.
No but I'm saying, he had to D2 Champ wins, wouldn't be a bad bet if you're portal shopping.
Plenty of upside to see if he could do it at the D1 level

This tired narrative needs to stop. Milton looked better at practice. Can’t blame the head coach for going with the guy who looks good at practice.
It won't but should. I don't get why he get's the hate he does. You'd thought he talked bad about the Vols every chance he got with the amount of hate he gets

So Fulmer was wrong to start Colquitt then Helton ahead of Manning? Obviously, Peyton was ready and did the job. Fulmer got it wrong in your eyes?

You're correct. No one saw Hooker as being better AND there were plenty of calls here to put in Bailey. You act as though VN got it right. We didn't and were worried about Hooker based on his VT benching.

If you want to feel better, yes.... Heupel didn't see it, Halzle didn't see it, VN didn't see it. NOBODY saw it. Feel better?
Peyton was NOT ready to start in 1994, but after injuries, he was the best option. Tennessee would have lost probably 1 game that yr if Colquitt hadn’t got hurt. They clearly would have beat UCLA, Miss St & Bama.

I get it. You don't respect the coach. Leave me alone as long as you don't respect the coach and the team enough to spell his name correctly.

Child.
You need to look at facts. He been here 5 yrs and started 1 qb he recruited out of hs and he was just an average qb. I do respect Hype. I rather have him here than any coach available
