El Paso Sector Border Patrol agents seized $175,000 in cash from a group of 21 Romanian nationals at an interior immigration checkpoint in New Mexico. The Romanians are linked to an organized crime network, a Border Patrol official stated.

El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Walter Slosar posted a report on X revealing the seizure of $175,000 in cash at the Alamogordo, New Mexico, interior checkpoint. Agents found the undeclared currency after the Romanian migrants initially declared $30,000.

Slosar said the 21 Romanian nationals are linked to an organized criminal ring.

Elsewhere in New Mexico, El Paso agents arrested a previously deported felon as he attempted to illegally re-enter the U.S. near Santa Teresa. The illegal alien’s criminal history includes a conviction for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

I am fine not turning over private data to anyone.

the more people get access, the more people that will want access, and the more access they will demand. I can't imagine that tax forms are the best way to track someone, especially 7 million. get warrants and come back for it.

this is just more of the bs the right claimed to be against.

Adams admin Reopens Rikers to ICE — fulfilling key Trump admin demand

The Adams administration has opened the doors for ICE to return to troubled Rikers Island — fulfilling a demand of the Trump administration that boosts communications between the feds and local jail officials.

The executive order, issued late Tuesday night, will immediately allow immigration officials to reopen offices on the island jail — with city officials citing a “critical” need for federal law enforcement to have “real-time” information sharing with the Department of Correction and NYPD about “criminal gang activity” in and out of city jails.

The order, first reported by CBS, allows federal officials to operate in the correctional facility and share intelligence to investigate “violent criminals and gangs” as part of only criminal probes, not civil immigration enforcement.

Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service were also given the same access.

2 Judges Limit Trump’s bid to deport ‘alien enemies’ in back-to-back rulings

NEW YORK — A federal judge in Texas on Wednesday blocked the Trump administration from deporting people designated as “alien enemies,” citing a Supreme Court ruling earlier this week and warning of the potential for “irreparable” mistakes.

The ruling by a Trump-appointed judge, which appears limited to defendants currently confined in Texas, came moments after a Clinton-appointed federal judge in New York said he would order the administration to guarantee those alleged “alien enemies” in his Manhattan-based district a chance to challenge their deportations.

The near-simultaneous rulings further hamstring the Trump administration’s efforts to deport alleged members of a Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, by using the two-centuries-old Alien Enemies Act, a rarely used law meant to guard against foreign invasions in wartime. It’s the latest legal setback for President Donald Trump’s effort to deploy these war powers to summarily deport foreign nationals he labels terrorists.

EXCLUSIVE: Trump Admin Relaunches Office For Victims Of Immigrant Crime That Biden Shuttered

The Trump administration is relaunching a key office that serves victims of immigrant crime, highlighting its commitment to combating border-related issues and its consequences.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is relaunching the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office, according to a press release shared exclusively with the Daily Caller News Foundation. VOICE, which was shuttered just months after President Joe Biden entered office in 2021, offers key support services to victims of immigrant crime and their family members. The VOICE Office will serve to help victims of migrant crime understand the immigration enforcement and removal process, provide assistance in signing up for automated custody status information on criminal migrants in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody and provide additional history on illegal migrants to families, according to DHS.

Meghan McCain Flames 'ICE Barbie' Kristi Noem as conservative darlings turn on Trump's DHS boss

Meghan McCain joined in the conservative pile-on toward Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem over her recent 'photo ops' in the field.

Noem, the former governor of South Dakota, attracted attention early on in Donald Trump's second term for spending time in the field with ICE agents as they looked to solve the crisis at the border.

The DHS Secretary has been dubbed 'ICE Barbie' by both fans and critics for her appearance with agents.

After Megyn Kelly called Noem 'an embarrassment,' McCain added to the pile of Noem's right wing critics on her 'Meghan McCain's Happy Hour' show.

'I don't think that it is productive to have a full face of hair and makeup and hair extensions - and I used to wear 60 pounds of hair extensions - when you're doing things like that,' McCain said of Noem's adventures.

McCain was specifically critical of a recent mishap where Noem held a gun incorrectly and in the direction of an agent's head.

'I'm from Arizona and I've been shooting guns since I was a child... she literally could've blown that man's head off, anybody with even a cursory knowledge of gun safety knows that.

The daughter of former Senator John McCain noted that she didn't 'want to comment on a woman's looks' but suggested: 'If I were giving her some advice, I would be like, "How about pulling our hair back in a baseball cap and not doing a photo-op?"'

ICE agents snatch anti-Israel Columbia protester Mohsen Madawi during his US citizenship appointment

Immigration agents nabbed an anti-Israel Columbia University protester while he was at an appointment to obtain his US citizenship in Vermont Monday.

Palestinian student Mohsen Madawi, who hails from the West Bank, was detained at a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in Burlington after spending 10 years in the US and obtaining his green card, according to the Intercept.

It now appears, however, that the Trump administration is seeking to cut Madawi’s time short in the US after he helped lead anti-Israel protests on Columbia’s Morningside Heights campus until last spring.

El Salvador president says Deported Maryland man with alleged MS-13 Ties Can’t Be Brought Back To US despite Supreme Court ruling: ‘Question is preposterous’

El Salvador President Nayib Bukele claimed Monday that he has no ability to send an alleged MS-13 member from Maryland deported to the Central American country back to the US despite a Supreme Court ruling directing the Trump administration to take “steps to facilitate” his return.

“I hope you are not suggesting that I smuggle terrorists into the United States,” Bukele told reporters while sitting alongside President Trump in the Oval Office. “Of course, I’m not going to do it.

“The question is preposterous,” Bukele added. “I don’t have the power to return him to the United States.”

An illegal alien from China who was sentenced last year for setting fire to a historic Alabama church in 2021 is now accused of escaping the federal prison where she was serving her sentence.

On September 30, 2021, 31-year-old Xiaoquin Yan of China set four fires in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church Montgomery in Montgomery, Alabama. Yan caused tens of thousands of dollars of damage to the church, which was founded in 1829; its existing sanctuary has been around since 1916.

After her conviction, Yan was sentenced to serve 102 months at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, in March of last year. Yan first arrived in the United States on an F-1 student visa but overstayed her visa and had been living as an illegal alien.

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) is requesting a meeting with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele to demand the return of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia — a known MS-13 gang member deported to El Salvador. Abrego-Garcia, who a judge has found to be a member of the MS-13 gang, was removed as the result of an administrative error, according to ICE officials. Van Hollen has promised to travel to El Salvador if Abrego-Garcia is not returned.

Adios..Muchacho

thinking about it, I have no issue with a summary deportation, without a new trial/appeal, of anyone who has been deported before, and not at least started the legal process of being here the second+ time.

Obama Judge Blocks Trump's Plan to deport hundreds of thousands of migrants from Four Countries

An Obama-appointed judge will prevent the Trump administration from deporting hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans with temporary legal status later this month.

The ruling is a significant, although perhaps temporary, setback for the administration as it dismantles Biden-era policies that created new and expanded pathways for people to live in the United States, generally for two years with work authorization.

The order applies to about 532,000 people from the four countries who came to the United States since October 2022 under a program called CHNV that the Biden administration was heavily criticized for.

U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani said she would issue a stay on an order for more than 500,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans to leave the country, sparing them until the case advances to the next phase. Their permits were to be canceled April 24.

Brazilian national Ilma Leandro De Oliveira, 53, was arrested on March 17 for incest, statutory rape of a child, unnatural acts with a child, indecent assault and battery.

A federal judge who ordered the Trump administration to return an alleged MS-13 gang member wrongly deported to El Salvador last month ruled that she would not hold any government officials in contempt for violating her order — for now — but warned against further “gamesmanship.”

US District Judge Paula Xinis said that the federal government failed to provide evidence detailing their efforts to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to the United States by April 7 after he was shipped off to El Salvador’s hellhole lockup CECOT.

“There will be no tolerance for gamesmanship or grandstanding,” she said at a hearing in her Greenbelt, Maryland, courtroom.
