Federal Judge James Boasberg finds probable cause to Hold Trump in Contempt over deportation flights

Judge James Boasberg told the Department of Justice he has found that the government showed a 'willful disregard' for his order

A federal judge said Wednesday that he has found probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt for failing to return two planes deporting migrants to El Salvador last month, a major update that comes as tensions between the Trump administration and the judiciary have reached a fever pitch.

In the 48-page opinion, Judge Boasberg said the court had ultimately determined that the Trump administration’s actions on the March 15 deportation flights, which took place after he issued a bench ruling ordering their immediate return to U.S. soil, demonstrate a "willful disregard" for the court that is sufficient for the government to be found in criminal contempt."

Should they fail to answer his questions by April 23, he said, he will refer the matter for potential prosecution.

Alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia— who was deported by Trump admin— accused of Physically Abusing Wife In 2021

Alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego-Garcia, who was deported by the Trump administration to El Salvador’s notorious mega-prison, was previously accused of physically abusing his wife who has been fiercely advocating for his release.

Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez, applied for a protective order against her husband in 2021, saying he punched, scratched, grabbed and bruised her, according to court documents.

The Department of Homeland Security shared Vazquez’s allegations on X, saying it’s evidence Garcia “had a history of violence and was not the upstanding ‘Maryland Man’ the media has portrayed him as.”

“This MS-13 gang member is not a sympathetic figure,” DHS said.

Democrat Left Red Faced after showing up at El Salvador prison to 'rescue' deported 'Maryland man' Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia

A Democratic lawmaker's attempt to 'rescue' a Maryland man accused by the Trump administration of being a criminal backfired after he was denied access to him despite flying to El Salvador.

Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen was left red faced after authorities in the country denied his request to meet with Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, 29.

Van Hollen had been sharing videos to his social media on Wednesday touting his plan to fly to the country and meet with Garcia.

He then revealed to reporters that his efforts had been in vain, and that he was told that he had to make 'earlier provisions' to visit Garcia.

Van Hollen said he would now be making a request with the American Embassy to go inside the high security facility.

In an earlier video, he had said: 'The goal of this mission is to let the Trump administration, to let the government of El Salvador know that we are going to keep fighting to bring Abrego Garcia home.

Chicago Mayor Calls Trump Racist, Vows Not to ‘Negotiate with a Terrorist’

1744912233097.png

Radical, left-wing Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson accused President Trump of being a racist and vowed not to “negotiate with a terrorist” concerning the president’s immigration policies.

During his press conference Tuesday, Johnson shrilly claimed that Trump was engaging in “terrorism” against “working people” with his deportation policies.

Chicago’s city budget is already projected to have a $1.2 billion deficit and that is with the federal funds included in the total.

Salvadorian father of eight who's lived American Dream for 30 years Seized by ICE after making VERY bad decision

A Salvadorian father who had been living undocumented in the US for 30 years was taken by ICE after being detained for driving on a suspended license.

Alexis Cana came to the US in his teens and built a family in Maryland, where he raised eight American children and founded a home improvement business.

The 49-year-old had no criminal record, but was detained last month for driving with a suspended license. He was given a two-day sentence and was arrested by ICE as he left court.

Cana is now being held at a detention facility in Mississippi and facing deportation after an immigration judge called him a 'danger to the community.' and denied him bond.

His family acknowledges he should not have been driving on a suspended license but think the punishment does not fit the crime.

An immigration judge noted Cana was in the country illegally and claimed he had made no efforts to get legal status.

Tennessee Governor Appoints State’s First Chief Immigration Enforcement Officer

1745003946026.png
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee appointed long-time law enforcement veteran Ryan Hubbard to serve as the state’s first-ever chief immigration enforcement officer.

The chief immigration enforcement officer will lead the Tennessee Chief Immigration Enforcement Division (CIED), a new division within the Tennessee Department of Safety, established through legislation passed by the Tennessee General Assembly earlier this year.

The bill included several reforms related to immigration, including establishing CIED, establishing criminal penalties for officials who adopt sanctuary policies, issuing temporary driver’s licenses to lawful permanent residents, and creating a grant program for local governments to promote the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

On Thursday, Lee announced Hubbard will serve CIED in the role of chief immigration enforcement officer, in which he will “lead a whole-of-state-government approach to identifying and addressing the presence of individuals in Tennessee who are subject to final orders of removal or who are violent criminal offenders in the country unlawfully.”

Lawsuit Forces All 15 Arizona Counties to Begin Removing Noncitizens from Voter Rolls

1745004162987.png
All 15 of Arizona’s counties agreed to settle a lawsuit brought last September by America First Legal (AFL) and election attorney Jennifer Wright against their recorders over failing to remove noncitizens from voter rolls. Maricopa County agreed to the settlement earlier this month, Yavapai and Mohave counties settled in November, and the remaining counties settled last Wednesday, sending requests to the Department of Homeland Security to assist them in verifying voters’ citizenship. In January, there were 50,000 federal-only voters on the state’s voter rolls, which are voters who are only allowed to vote in federal races due to failing to produce documented proof of citizenship (DPOC).

Soros-Funded Group Behind Lawsuit Trying to Preserve Anchor Baby Policy

1745005379280.png

A pro-mass migration group, funded in part by Alex and George Soros’s left-wing nonprofit network, is behind a lawsuit trying to preserve the nation’s anchor baby policy, where the United States-born children of illegal aliens are rewarded birthright American citizenship. The case will be heard next month before the Supreme Court.

Immediately after taking office, Trump signed an executive order ending birthright citizenship for the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens — a policy once also opposed by Democrats. Annually, about 250,000 anchor babies are born in the U.S. every year, anchoring their illegal alien parents in the country.

In response, CASA Inc. and the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project — both representing pregnant illegal aliens planning to deliver anchor babies in the U.S. — sued to block the executive order. Four district court judges have halted the executive order while it makes its way to the Supreme Court.

CASA, previously known as CASA de Maryland, has taken more than $2.23 million from the Soros network’s Open Society Foundations from 2016 to 2023, a search of grant records reveals.

EXCLUSIVE: Tren de Aragua Gang Member is seen Sobbing as he and four other Thugs Arrested at Florida Sam's Club

A violent Tren de Aragua gangbanger was seen sobbing during his police interview after being collared by cops in Florida for robbing a liquor store.

Ramon Jesus Carpintero-Luna, 26, is one of a gang of thugs – dubbed the ‘Scotch Bandits’ – busted for a string of three-dozen thefts across central Florida that saw stores rack up losses of more than $30,000 in recent months.

The tearful goon was snagged along with four other gangbangers last night and has since been charged with robbery, as well as having an immigration detainer placed on him.

Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff’s Organized Retail Crime Unit say Carpintero-Luna was caught on camera stealing $3,200-worth of liquor from a Sam’s Club grocery store in Lakeland last month – an incident that left a female employee injured.

Along with Samuel Oglis David Anthony Charle, 25, Ildemaro Miguel Escalona Mendoza, 26, Alexis Jose Rodriguez-Benavides, 27, and Darwins Smith Vasquez Leon, 28, Carpintero-Luna was seen attempting to wheel a cart containing 14 cases of booze out of the store.

When the employee confronted them, they rammed her with the cart and made off with two of the cases before attempting to drive off in a silver Ford Focus.

But cops said they were foiled by their own bad driving and were eventually forced to run off on foot before making their getaway in an Uber.

Investigators who searched the car found the stolen liquor, as well as several cellphones and a passport.

Photos obtained by DailyMail.com reveal the men were living high on the hog thanks to their ill-gotten gains with social media pictures showing the thugs partying, showing off bottles of high-end Buchanan Scotch whiskey and relaxing on the beach.

But the party is now over with two of the crooks apprehended in neighboring Osceola County and Carpintero-Luna, Leon and Rodriguez-Benavides picked up by Polk County detectives on Thursday night.

According to cops, Benavides and Charle are known members of Tren de Aragua while the other three are gang associates, and said all five are in the US illegally from Venezuela.

Detectives also told DailyMail.com that the goons also have a lengthy list of priors, that includes drug possession, resisting arrest, robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and ‘armed and dangerous’ domestic violence.

Although Carpintero-Luna was pictured smiling in his eventual mugshot, his tears may come back to haunt him as the Department of Homeland Security is also looking at charges.

His association with the violent Venezuelan gang could also see him handed a seat on one of the gangster-filled planes currently being sent to El Salvador by the Trump administration.
