I lived in Germany for a while, Weisbaden.

Fun area. Of course most of the places near the bases all have fun things. Gasthaus, beer, fests, Fasching, etc are great things I miss. Don't miss the 100 degree weather they are having right now with no AC.

I miss the Volksmarches (I think that is what they were called)

Fly down in one of your jets this weekend and pick me and Hohen up and lets fly to Germany so we can get drunkenhousen

Yep, Volksmarches which were 10k or 20k.

I have alot of medals from them. My parents have alot of my memorabelia from Germany. We have a piece of the Berlin wall (Not the souvanier, my Dad was a CID Agent in Berlin when the wall fell). I miss That place, alot of fun times.

So you dad was Army? Visited Berlin a couple years after the wall fell. Before all the reconstruction. Very interesting town and people. Had a great time there.

Yeah, he refused to allow me to join the Army. :lol:

I remember going to Holland, Austria, Denmark and France. Legoland in Denmark is awesome. Being in Germany was centraly located to all areas.
