Sounds to me like he is the football version of Bruce Pearl, and that is a good thing.

Maybe a little unstable but his offense's have lit up more scoreboards than General electric...The man knows what he's doing

What about defense? If you don't play defense in the SEC you're not going to go anywhere. Look at Florida last year; obviously they had a great offense, but a subpar defense, and they ended up third in the SEC East. I want a coach with balance.

Apparently You have never seen Texas Tech play football...They have a fine defense and very disiplined and a monster of an offense...Defense is not our problem at UT it's OFFENSE...This would solve a lot of problems and quite frankly I would enjoy seeing UT put up 50 points almost every weekend....Plus the post game conference would be an event in itself...This hire would bring FUN back to UT football and We are badly in need of it....By the way, Go tell Florida the spread doesn't work in the SEC :birgits_giggle:

The only thing I remember about UF last year is 59-20! I would rather NOT to take a look at Florida!

His terrible defense only sacked (Heisman trophy canidate)Colt McCoy 3-4 time and ran an interception back for a TD in sacking #1 team in country. His offense and our defense this year would bring a NC.

Yes, and they also gave up 33 points. Anyway, this is one decent year of defense out of how many for Leach?

33 points to a high powered Texas offense....Everybody will have a hard time holding that Texas team under 40 points this year...They are good

Oh and by the way, Texas Tech has beaten Oklahoma 2 out of the last 3 years...He can win the big game.

agreed, I want a person who can score points regardless of how our defense plays that week, if you score 50 the defense doesnt have as much pressure on them to win the game by themselves, and I like the pirate attitude, i think its a plus that he admires those types of no holds barred influences as a football coach
