I think a lot of folks would be worried about this hire. To me it says we aren’t messing around anymore.

It's always "xyz coach please" or "what about blah blah blah". We are not getting a decent coach this late. Too many bridges burned (fairly or not), media bashing the fan base and AD, etc. Quit saying "PLEASE next OK-ish coach save us even though we didn't care about you a week ago but we're *dying* for you now after being turned down by everyone", (even Doreon for crying out loud). Now we are just looking desperate (which we are). Desperation should be quiet - not all loud and obvious. Quit crying, it just adds to the embarrassment.
