Yeah, if I didn't read the KNS I wouldn't know what a great contributor Steve Pearl was going to be. I wouldn't know that green jerseys are to blame for the quarterback problems. If I didn't read the KNS, I wouldn't be able to read two day old NBA boxscores. If they are so terrible and a joke, do you never look at it and get all your Tennessee coverage from another source? If so, you're one of the most misinformed people on this board, not to mention ignorant. People should use as many sources as possible in building knowledge, and ruling out one of the state's best papers makes you look like the idiot.
How much of a fact is Steve Pearl's greatness? There's a reason Griffith is stuck working in a third tier market making next to nothing. He has no talent. I tend to find that reading people who actually know something, like Andy Katz or Dick Weiss, is far more worthwhile. They'd be more impressed by factual reporting in newsprint than thoughts of unrealistic and unconnected fans on a message board.
I'm still waiting for you to list any story Griffith has ever broken. When a Sportsline writer based out of Memphis is breaking the Negedu story, that tells you all you need to know about the quality of the KNS beat writer.Pearl finds a way to get on the court during games. He does get playing time. Andy Katz and Dick Weiss are clueless when it comes to the day-to-day news of Tennessee basketball. But why would you want a complete picture of the team when you could just be clueless? It makes so much more sense, and yes, seems worthwhile for the clueless.
You're the one making idiotic assertions about who is "connected" and who's not. Please tell me what Griffith's presence at practice has added to his coverage? The fact is simple, he's a bad writer at an equally bad newspaper.Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your impact on the game and your coverage of the game has been legendary.
