A UGA secondary, ravaged by injuries, one that had a converted RB at SS, wasn't challenged through the air for 3 straight drives, all 3-&-outs, I believe.

Stubbornness.

Further reinforced by this monumentally abysmal showing against a weak UF defense. Sad.

OP is right. Butch is a loser as UTs head coach. 7-10. Last 3 weeks.... decent loss vs Okla, good loss vs Georgia, awful loss vs Florida. No matter what else happens, he just loses.

Why max protect if we are going "hot"? We shouldn't need the extra help blocking if we are getting the ball out fast. How much hotter can we get that 25 screen passes a game? I understand what you are saying and I completely agree that the zone read is garbage with Worley but a lot of fans want us to go deep or eat up chunks of yards and we cant do that much with this line...

I haven't read this whole thread (yeah, I know four whole pages) but anyone that wants to put this loss on the coaches needs to stop and think about the fact that this loss lies at the feet of the offensive line. There and nowhere else. They're young. They're inexperienced. They are the reason we're gonna have to HOPE for 6-6 this year. EVERY one pointed toward 2015 as the year TN football gets back on top.

You know there are ways to help a bad oline.

The announcers were mentioning them all game.

And if the QB keeps it just once, JUST ONCE, it makes the D honest and have to wait top see who gets the ball...the announcers mentioned that also.

We lost because their QB actually kept it just a few times and moved the chains.

We went after the HC and it did work. He gone.

We aren't going after Butch here...just letting Butch know he needs to get read of the OC.

Puts pressure on him to begin asking some hard questions.

Bajakian insists on read-options runs with a QB that is in no way a threat to run. It is an insane stubbornness.

I agree with this. They knew last year that they had a pocket passer as their best chance to win games. But stubbornly refused to adjust the playbook to accommodate a Pocket passer.

The Read Zone look is worthless with a pocket passing QB. Wasted movement. Play takes too long to develop, etc. Should be more Power I and play-action.

Run Read Zone schemes....when you PLAY a Read Zone QB.

Did bajakian ever adjust to put a keep a back in or TE on the edge to help the line? NO!

Ok. So lets say we keep a tight end in to block...now we have 4 receivers against 8 defenders...the extra half a second to throw probably isn't gonna make that big a difference. Im not trying to defend the coaches or stir up controversy, Im just saying it is near impossible to be a coordinator if your team can't block. Very little that you call works.

I'll tell you what's "hilarious". Believing these are kneejerk reactions.

This is now a pattern. Weeks of underperformance. Continual examples of poor play calling. Consistent mis-utilization of personnel.

If anything, it has been too long in coming.
