President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Biden officially RESTARTS Trump's 'Remain in Mexico' policy that he once called 'inhumane': Joe eats his words and INFURIATES The Squad by making migrants wait on Mexico side of border while their papers are processed

Joe Biden was forced on Thursday to resume the Trump-era Remain in Mexico policy as migrants head north for the border and GOP lawmakers introduce legislation to stop the White House from paying out migrant families separated under the previous administration.

The Department of Homeland Security said Thursday it is acting to comply with a court order in reimplementing the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), which requires asylum-seekers who made it to the border by way of Mexico to remain in the country as they await U.S. court proceedings related to their claim.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki described the program on Thursday as 'Deeply flawed.'

'We're working to implement [it] under the court order,' she added.

What the heck is going on with Kamala Harris?
https://www.cnn.com/profiles/chris-cillizza
(CNN) In the space of the last two weeks, Vice President Kamala Harris has lost two of her senior aides.

First, just before Thanksgiving, news broke that Ashley Etienne, Harris' communications director, would be leaving the vice president's office. Then, on Wednesday night, CNN reported that Symone Sanders, Harris' chief spokesperson and a senior adviser, is also headed out the door.

Harris allies quickly moved to explain both of these departures away as long-planned and not part of any sort of problem within the Veep's office.

"It's natural for staffers who've thrown their heart and soul into a job to be ready to move on after a few years," said White House press secretary Jen Psaki of Sanders' departure on Thursday.

If you believe that, well, you haven't been paying attention. Top advisers to a vice president don't just randomly leave less than a year into a term. One departure might be explained away by extenuating circumstances. Two? No way.

Is Anyone Buying this Ridiculous Kamala and Pete show?

Buttigieg-Harris-Hug.jpg

Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg embrace before traveling to North Carolina to talk about the bipartisan infrastructure law.

Did you see that hug between Wonder Boy President in Waiting Pete Buttigieg and Back Off Little Man I’m Boss Lady of This House Kamala Harris? I’ve seen leprous porcupines get closer together for a hug. Harris and Buttigieg could have danced like that at a Catholic high school in 1957 and the chaperone would have said, “I’ll allow it. If anything, there’s room for two Holy Spirits in between.”

H and B managed to hug while looking like they wished they were in two different time zones, just as their political fortunes are going in completely different directions: Buttigieg is maybe even a little ahead of schedule in the ruthless mega-map to the presidency he probably devised when he was drinking chocolate milk in kindergarten eight or nine years ago, while Harris is looking like the first sitting vice president who will ever cackle her way to political oblivion.

Is anyone buying this ridiculous Kamala and Pete show?

Whoopsie! But I’m sure the idiot in chief has this under control 🤡

Hiring was a bust in November, even before omicron, with 210,000 jobs added — NPR

That's because the recent "revisions" were nothing more than people returning to work after their benefits ran out. There was no real new job creation, most of those jobs have remained unfilled for months. Nearly every place you go is either understaffed or underserved, well except in Luther's imaginary world where everything is on the upswing.

The current condition is simply broken. They are reporting record low unemployment out of one corner of their mouth while reporting huge misses on jobs added back. The only rational explanation is that many people simply said to hell with it all which seems to correlate with the circle of people I know.

Ok millennials, Gen x, and Gen Z you wanted us boomers out of your way. You’re welcome you got what you wanted now get your asses in to work and quit yer bitchin

Why inflation can actually be good for everyday Americans and bad for rich people
My brain is simply not big enough to understand this article. Thank God our leaders have brought us this financial windfall with their inflation magic.
So basically, debtors and not savers benefit...

But on the whole, inflation can actually be a good thing for many working-class Americans, especially those with fixed-rate debt like a 30-year mortgage. That's because wages are going up, which not only empowers workers but also gives them more money to pay down debt. Plus, in the case of a mortgage, your monthly payment will be the same but your house will increase in value.

'No you-know-what Sherlock!' Psaki's snarky clap back when asked what the White House is doing to address the fact that Americans care more about the economy and COVID than social issues on MSNBC

White House press secretary Jen Psaki gave a snarky reply Friday morning when Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski pointed out that Americans care more about economic issues than social ones.

Brzezinski was referring to data collected from a Virginia-based focus group of voters who had chosen President Joe Biden for president in 2020 and then voted for Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin, the race's winner.

'Democrats are losing really badly on economic issues, and that a lot of Americans care more about economic issues versus social issues and, of course, their health,' the anchor said. 'How do you respond? How do you think the White House can do better?'

'No you-know-what Sherlock! Of course they do!' Psaki replied.

I bet she wipes her chin each day before she appears before the camera.
She's such a hack. Just like all the other Dems, she's not a very pleasant person to be around.

At some point, you gotta question the legitimacy of the system. If 2022 doesn't turn out the way it should, then we are a captured nation.
Seems to me we are past the tipping point. Doesn’t mean it will always be a Democrat in the WH but it does seem like the power is no longer with “we the people” but with a class of untouchable and invisible elites.
