Jones did a really nice job last season after taking over the last few games. I think he deserves to start but he must earn it this fall.

Your memory is off- Jones started 1 game in 2015 and it was the middle of the season against Alabubba.

Weisman was not that impressive on the ride side last year... He and Kendrick did not get a lot of push when they played together

What???

Yes Kendrick was garbage. But Weisman was our best interior lineman last year.

There is a reason he was voted 2nd team All-SEC. He was damn good.

Jones is probably the 6th man if I were to guess. Boulware follwing him
We don't hear enough about young Mr. Boulware but he is the real deal, if he's not starting that to me means we have a very good OL this year with solid backups getting significant playing time.

Most definitely he should be added to the 1st post. He will see playing time. Probably 2 deep position most of the time with Kyle Phillips & Lewis at the two-deep behind Barnett & Vereen.

Kongbo I believe will be a 2nd & 3rd down type rushing DE most of the time with special stunts/plays ran for him. Lewis will definitely play though. He made some plays last year so I see no differently this coming season for him.

Granted young Kongbo came to us as a highly regarded DE, but just like Beyonce is always one ham sandwich from being a big girl, Kongbo is one ham sammich away from being a DT, and a potential great one if he can get technique down quickly. No one doubts his physical gifts, we all need to see how he looks once equally physically gifted athletes are trying to road grade him.

Vickers is a better player than O'biren

I think they're pretty equally. They are different types of players but I think they're on the same level. If I had to pick one I'd personally pick O'brien but it's close. It goes without saying but we really need them both to stay healthy.

Interesting comment on a player who sat out 6 games last season due to injuries.

Interesting comment on a player who sat out 6 games last season due to injuries.

He likes using the word garbage when generally referring to quite a few of our present and former players, as well to our team/program when he thinks they don't quite measure up to his standards.

Did you watch any games last year?

Vickers is head and shoulders better than O'Brien.

Based on what specifically? And don't give us any hooey about your evaluation skills. I want specific traits, skills, attributes and preferably with examples.

3 years versus one

3 years of PLAYING? Piggybacking on that, isn't it 4 versus 1? Kendrick is a RS JR. Piggybacking further, Blair has 3 years "experience" under those parameters. :). Bottom line is that Kendrick has very little PLAYING experience as a trump card. If he's clearly better in Fall camp then that will bear out...if it's a TIE? They'll go with the young talent IMO. Unfortunate bow to future recruits. :hi:
