I would love nothing more in life than for Butch and Vols to win the NC and give the middle finger to all afterwards. That would really get me hard. Not even kidding. (Just a bit maybe)

I'm largely ignoring the sensationalist media. Until actual facts come out, it's all just noise

All media unfortunately is sensationalist on one side or the other. It's hard to find a place to get the truth anymore.

I always preferred John Stewart so at least I could laugh while hearing the horrors of the daily news.

I love how people lump non-related things together. Write an inflammatory climb about the UT allegations? Well, you're a communist. Do you like guns? Well, I bet you love the Bible too don't you?

Drop the hyperbole. Very few issues are black and white and we have seen a number of folks the past few days who seem to only be able to see the world in monotone.

It turns out that not everyone who holds an opposing viewpoint from you is an awful human being. Shout out to the reasonable folks discussing these allegations without playing their loud idiot card.

Yeah, those damn leftists and their support of women! Burn em all!! Rebel flag!!!!!

What a moron. People like you are so severely uneducated it is actually quite pathetic. Maybe you should learn to do your own thinking and stop regurgitating the democratic party line.

Whatever happened to Art Briles and the Baylor scandal?
Plausible deniability. What Briles did or did not know will most likely never be known due to a carefully crafted statement by Chris Petersen's legal counsel.

Chris Petersen, Art Briles in a battle of words over Sam Ukwuachu case | Idaho Statesman

"After Sam Ukwuachu was dismissed from the Boise State football program and expressed an interest in transferring to Baylor, I initiated a call with coach Art Briles,” Petersen said in a statement released to the Idaho Statesman. “In that conversation, I thoroughly apprised Coach Briles of the circumstances surrounding Sam’s disciplinary record and dismissal.”

This is Petersen's only public statement about Sam Ukwuachu's rape case. What exactly did Petersen " thoroughly apprise" Briles of? Petersen never "apprised" the Boise State administration (his employer) of anything.

Ukwuachu's father was present when Petersen generated the phone call to Briles. Petersen has yet to refute Mr Ukwuachu's sworn affidavit or Boise State's claims.

Definitely something a leftist would do. Ignore the majority of what someone said and create your own narrative to create a villain out of the person calling a dishonest pos like you out.

Don't get upset. Being slandered in the media means the program is relevant again. If these issues were happening at a lesser school it would be a blip on the ticker at the bottom of the screen. You have to understand that so far Butch has handled every situation at Tennessee by the book. He's proving to be successful and a morally sound person at the same time, aka the media's favorite people to crucify. (See Peyton Manning)

It killed them when Mack Crowder's phantom punch story was unsubstantiated. It will kill them when this goes to the wayside as well. Funny turn of events since Crowder turned out to be a piece of garbage himself.

Yeah, I wish the story of Butch punching Crowder had been true now.

He said IF the allegations were true that Butch should be fired and anyone with half a brain would have to agree. No one wants a leader who would admonish a young man from doing the right thing.

He said IF many times. He did say he doubts that every woman in the suit is lying. Again, most people that can use common sense would agree with that statement. This isn't Duke where one person made it up. Now, all 8 telling the truth? Using logic, probably not.

Blind homerism makes the Tn fan base look as bad as the PR dept on the hill is currently.
You point out my main problem with this whole thing. I honestly think there are real issues in the suit that should be addressed in the suit that will be drowned out by the dog and pony show.

I am sure there are valid points of susbtance in this case and those points are the ones no one is talking about. We are all caught up in the ridiculous stuff they are throwing out ot the media to taint the jury pool. Cases like this are 90% PR. UT is put in a no win situation. If they go to trial and win any part of the case that does not get reported what gets reported is they won not that half the crap that came out to get everyone riled up was not true.

Sorry but we are going to have to get used to the media outcry and their rush to judgement. That is just how it works now when sexual assault allegations are involved. The accuser gets the benefit of the doubt (even a certified whack job like Jamie Naughright) until there is no doubt anymore about what happened (see the Duke lacrosse case).

I suspect this is mainly the attorneys filing the lawsuit leaking info in a coordinated effort to build a larger sum for settlement or judgement. Overload the media with coverage, and make it impossible for the defense to find anyone to fill a jury pool. A big reason why American justice is such a joke anymore.

What a biased, idiot, a-hole. Everybody is lying, please. Only Bowles is lying, likely because he was pissed about playing time. Certainly, Bowles was questioned before the first filing of the suit. Then why is this just coming out now.

Sworn affidavit, why not if there if no recording on either side, there would be no way to disprove it. Just more he said, she said and positioning by the plaintiffs attorney.

I really struggle to believe Butch would do treat anyone poorly for helping the alleged victim.

Being a smart ass and stating that UT defenders are suggesting a conspiracy by saying the women all lied is not factual, but a straw man.

Only one addressed the Bowles situation as hear-say and the rest did not comment on it. I guess anyone with the IQ of a turnip can get a show on espn.

I would ban ESPN from UT and no more trips there once they resolve this case.

Seriously, &^^*^ ESPN and (*&(*& the Tennessean and their leftist ()*)(* reporters.

GBO, Punch a Yankee Traitor, Free Butch!

Yes let's ban them all, better yet let confine them and reeducate the lot of em.
