Fox News Beats ABC, NBC, CBS During Weekday Primetime while CNN has Lowest-rated week of year​


Fox News Channel beat all broadcast networks in a key metric last week as CNN had its lowest-rated week of the year.

Fox News averaged 2.7 million viewers during primetime on weekdays from May 26-30, compared to 2.4 million for NBC, 2.4 million for CBS and 2.3 million for ABC.

While Fox News prevailed against the trio of broadcast networks, it also obliterated CNN.

Jesse Watters Primetime saw stiff competition from Gutfeld! as the former show squeaked into the most-watched position in the Adults 25-54 demo. Only 6,000 A25-54 viewers separated the two shows on Tuesday night. Once again, CNN’s entire evening lineup recorded more demo viewers than MSNBC’s, with CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip leading the way. MSNBC’s top show in the demo was The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.

The esteemed journalist earned an Emmy nomination for his three-part series, MisinfoNation: Extreme America, in which he traveled "around the country meeting far-right extremists with a long history of hate." For some reason, O'Sullivan has been remarkably uninterested in covering the ongoing outburst of left-wing violence in this country.
