In case you didn't check, we won 63-7 with over 600 yds of total offense. What on god's green earth can you find to complain about. Granted it was WKU but it was a completely dominating win. When will you Negavol pieces of sanctimonious s@&t shut your septic holes. At least be happy until Monday then you can start your whining again if you can find something to complain about.

We put up with your mindless negativism for the entire season last year. Give normalcy a chance. Stop acting like a complete idiot.

I don't like the turnovers.

Other than that I am tickled to death.

NO COMPLACENCY, we have a LOOOONG way to go yet

Yeah and old way of blowing a low level team was a 35-3 win game against UAB

and we were only playing northern Illinois for a landslide victory of 13-9 .

and we were only playing Wyoming for that massive come from ahead , snatch the loss from the jaws of victory game that was lost 13-7

Yeah this was a weak opponent but it is CLEAR that the team has made massive improvement and will in all likely hood perform better against highly regarded opponents .

Just a reminder that we did not only struggle against The Gators and Tides of the world ...we were equal opportunity strugglers!

Could the Alcoa Tornadoes beat Northern Illinois and Wyoming, too? We were barely 1-1 against them last year.

seriously, lets not kid ourselves, thius is a division 2 or 4 team, forgot, they just now moved into division 1 a,so lets not get to bragging, this was one of worst teams in country division 1 a or whatever division in vcountry,so lets not get out there and bragg, and not to take away from great playing.

did like the way crompton reading defenses, from zone, and man to man defenses from opponent.thats big improvement, always thought crompton arm was good, but reading defenses, was the weakness,so he has improved, and maybe its from kiffin,he did coach couple of qb's at usc, that came toi be heisman winners at usc,so that could be reason he reading defenses better with that staff.

but the team looks better with pass protection, run game, etc.lets dont forget, this is western kentucky.

i told my friends here that i predict 10 wins this season for us,so dont come on this thread and talk bad about me.

A team we would have beaten 10-7 last year.....IF.....we had even won the game.

Hell, man! Be happy we are seeing major improvements.

You kind of give UT a backhanded compliment and say things that everyone on this board knows already. Everyone knows we beat WKU today. The excitement you're seeing is that this team was enormously improved in every aspect. Except punting, which we didn't get to see.

Anyone expressing negativity about the game today does not bleed orange, i was tickled to death with the outcome, dont give a damn if it was the hilltoppers or the pittsburgh steelers. The freshman guys really stepped it up, BB looked like a Mack truck ! Go Vols regardless of who your playing.

I can do it too.

If nothing else, great to see a Vols game where the punter is not the most valuable player.

I love the Vols but temper your expectations . One game at a time people ! Today was a great win for our teams confidence but lets take it one game at a time . UCLA will be tougherr than WKU .

A Vol win makes for a better week.

Besides, UT may be the #1 ranked team in Offense this week. If nothing else, it sounds good.

Of course this game means something... For one, it means that this year's team can handle homecoming fodder like a good team should. I don't know how far behind NIU or Wyoming this team was... but they have roughly the same range of talent. I can GUARANTEE that if CPF/Chavis were still coaching the Vols, they wouldn't have scored over 50, had over 600 yds of total offense, or held WKU to less than 100 yds while still playing reserves. And there is absolutely, positively NO WAY Freshmen would have been allowed to make the impact those kids made today.

What does it mean? It means that UT plays bad teams the way a good team should... instead of the way a bad team does.

u should never be able to start a thread with negativity like that. Root for a new team.

Anybody that is not ecstatic over this victory, I have to question their fandom. This game exceeded my expectations in every way! Go Vols!

Alcoa could not beat WKU lets be real. if that was true that would mean that the Tornadoes are full of Div 1 talent. I like the 2 HS teams from Blount Co but their not a St Thomas Aquinas. That HS team could hang with a WKU

This game was the most points scored by the Vols since 2000. Think CLK is sending a message??
