Look here Trollie Troll, Troll ... I am football happy for the first time since before I blamed all of our woes on Randy Sanders (sorry Randy I take it all back it was Phat Phill all along). Are we gonna win the NC no ... we gonna beat FL or AL? Probably not, but the football I am seeing makes me happy, so dont be a buzz kill. I know WKU isnt that good, but Ut could have laid down and went through the motions. UT was very impressive, look how Iowa handled N.Iowa, how OSU handled Navy, and last I saw SJS was playing USC tough. Good start to the season. We knew we would win but the ? was how much would be enough to be comfy, I say 56 is a good start.

From a rival perspective, I agree with those who contend this game means a lot. Not just the win, but the fact that you won handily. Tremendous confidence-builder. UCLA will be a tougher test, but the confidence and swagger gained from today's game will add enthusiasm to next week's practices and "gameface anticipation" for UCLA.

it means that we took care of business the way business should have been taken care of. wku is a terrible team and they were defeated accordingly. and having endured the last few years......that's reason enough to celebrate this win in my book. i'm a happy camper right now.

How many times has UT came out against a team they are suppose to beat and play terrible? UAB, Wyoming, Southern Miss, Memphis etc.

OP has no idea of what is being done in this program right now. Lat Tennessee struggled to beat UAB, NI and LOST to WY. JC had 4 TD's all of last year. He has 5 today. Connected with 9 receivers today. Two backs over 100 yards. Freshmen making plays all over the field. Defense was awesome. The game does not make us a top 25 team but you can bet this offense will not finish above 115 in total offense for the year.

I suggest the OP stick with making his opinions on Vol Calls with the idiot from Crossville.

Sure it was WKU, but what was there to not be happy about if your a Vol. You guys did pretty much what you should have done, and then some. You completely dismantled a lesser opponent. If I'm not mistaken thats what is supposed to happen. I'm impressed. RTR!!!

First time poster, long time reader. I agree that WKU isn't a good team, but we didn't make them look like a good team like we have done the past few years. Playing at a high level no matter who you play is a sign of a good team. I think this team will surprise some people this year.

It means a lot.

1st. The players now see what hard work does
2nd. The players know that the coaches know what they're doing.
3rd. Most points scored in almost 10 years, and I believe the last one was an overtime game.
4th. Recruits now know that when CLK says you will have an opportunity to compete to a new recruit, he means it.
5th. Players who have not or did not make plays after being here for several years made plays today, creating depth.
6th. After early misfortune the team rallied and kept the pressure instead of giving up.
7th. Last but not least, we actually kicked an opponent's azz that we were supposed to kick their azz.

In case you didn't check, we won 63-7 with over 600 yds of total offense. What on god's green earth can you find to complain about. Granted it was WKU but it was a completely dominating win. When will you Negavol pieces of sanctimonious s@&t shut your septic holes. At least be happy until Monday then you can start your whining again if you can find something to complain about.

We put up with your mindless negativism for the entire season last year. Give normalcy a chance. Stop acting like a complete idiot.
