Last Year: “You just don’t lose to Tennessee and they didn’t.”

This Year: Pretty much let his players talk pre game for his team since he let it go. Laugh at it to calling it "Classic."

McElwain on Wilson guaranteeing win: "Being humble, there's a lot of good in that. As I said, back it up. They didn't back it up did they?"

Seems like he takes absolutely no ownership in his teams performance. Even fans refer to their team as we. Shows a distinct lack of backbone.

I know another animal that lacks a backbone. You can find it in the swamp as well.

Eh.. the players said after the game they took it easy and thought they could coast to the win after the half. Coaching staff had them ready to play.. 300 yards of offense in 2 quarters with your backup QB on the road is not bad.

This is exactly why you don't let the inmates run the asylum. When things go bad the warden cant point the finger at the guards and think everything will be fine.

I can see why you think that.. but you can't deny they were running the show in the first half.

Doesn't matter now. Vols win big and maybe now the Gators will play with humility. :good!:

Yeah sounds about right. I heard the Tennessee players spotted Florida 21 points on purpose just to humiliate them.

That's the biggest crock of **** ive ever heard. They ran their mouths for months up to the game. Your right they came out on fire. Tennessee weathered the storm and punched them in the mouth. Florida pulled a Tennessee and started to think rather than play ball. The coaches went away from what got them there and that's a huge credit to what Tennessee did from an adjustment standpoint. They weren't conditioned for a game like this and had mentally checked out.

I can't deny that UT gave UF every opportunity in the world to win that game in the first half. Drops after drops and playing 10 yard cushions on every UF receiver. I can't deny that in the second half, the light came on for us and we started playing with more pressure on the defensive side of the ball and those easy catches that we dropped in the first half, started to be caught in the second. I know it's hard for UF and fans to admit, but UT won this game and took it away from UF with force.....not UF just coasted and gave the game to UT.

Our DL kicked ass in the 2ND half end of story. 118 yards TO for the gaiters.

Sounds like you're ok with your players "explanation" for getting Butchslapped in the second half Saturday? I will tell you this right now and I said it last year. You guys will be screaming for a different coach at the end of this season. I don't think he's very good.

Even if UF played with the most humility as humanly possible, that wouldn't have changed the outcome. GTFO with that garbage.

All the "them" and "theys" he uses is indicative of someone who does not see himself there for very long.

After repeatedly beating us deep in the first half, Donkey Teeth made this adjustment for the second half. 'Stop throwing deep'....lol!

Story as follows:

'Tennessee made adjustments on both sides of the ball and didn’t drop passes in the second half. And Florida went conservative with its play-calling when the offense desperately needed a big play.

Heck, just a first down would have been nice.

“We were a little nervous about protection,” McElwain said.'

If DeBord did that, VN would be rightfully livid. Baaaaaaaaad coaching by ole Butter Teeth.

Please. If you believe this you are a sucker.

You lost because your O and D line got tired and started getting crushed, your best corner got burnt by a backup QB turned WR, and we took out our CB, Justin Martin, covering 81 and replaced him with a player with a pulse.

Florida did not let up. You habe a bunch of players who talk crap then excuse it away when they get popped in the jaw.

Nice culture.

I think CJM is a fine coach. I don't think there is a coach on the planet that could have stopped our fight and effort in the second half.
