I didn't see it, but he seems like a classy guy. I have watched him on a couple of celebrity golf tournaments.Wow, Larry Fitzgerald just delivered a stirring eulogy at Senator McCain's Phoenix memorial. Yeah, that Larry Fitzgerald. I see now why he was often voted as the most-liked player in the NFL. Much respect.
If the family doesn’t like her then yeah no reason to have her there. Most of the remaining protocol is for them.He stated that he had regretted putting her on the ticket and his family was never very fond of her because of things she did or said during the 2008 election.
I have defended him pretty hard in this thread but it does make him look classless by not inviting her. I know she’s a twit. But he’s the one who put her in the ticket. His family shouldn’t blame her.He stated that he had regretted putting her on the ticket and his family was never very fond of her because of things she did or said during the 2008 election.
Pretty classy of McCain to ban Sarah Palin from his funeral. She never spoke harshly of him from what I know. He was apparently pretty bitter at the end.
@1972 Grad will want pics. You will enjoy the new boobs she just had installed.
I have some already.@1972 Grad will want pics.
The only 3 that weren't there were campaign manager Steve Schmidt, senior adviser Nicolle Wallace, and strategist John Weaver. Schmidt and Wallace convinced McCain to pick Palin then gave him hell for it after the campaign was over. They both went on the monitor what all the inside information they knew and even got a movie made about it. "McCain viewed their lack of discretion as a betrayal, and it led to a six-year estrangement with Schmidt."He didn’t include any of his former campaign aides either. Yeah he was a bitter old man.
He loved himself, didn’t he? All these glorious televised services, as if he was a former president or something. I don’t believe Ted Kennedy got this much coverage.

Tough to criticize something like this. I think whatever the family wants is ok, but it does feel like it's a little much.He didn’t include any of his former campaign aides either. Yeah he was a bitter old man.

It has already been too much and is more about hating Trump than honoring McCain. The left cant help themselves. Same for Aretha Franklin's funeral.
I'm figuring there is close to zero chance that if Trump were given the chance to speak at McCain's funeral, he wouldn't politicize it. He would do the same at any high-profile funeral. My opinion, of course, but drawing from his history of never missing an opportunity to do so.
