Not looking good for McCain. Never agreed with him on much politically, but he was honorable, represented his country well, and always tried to act in the National interest.

He did what he thought was right for the country, not out of self-interest. That is his legacy.

Right. Sure.

Why is it that when the Grim Reaper is knocking at someone's door they all of a sudden become eligible for sainthood? I'm sorry that the man is gonna die, but don't try to make him out to be one of the good guys.

My respect grew for him when, during the heat of the campaign with Obama, he shot down the people who tried to impugn Obama's character, despite being booed in doing so. Not even conceivable that Trump would have done something like that.

He had no problem with barry winning, sometimes I think McCain even voted for barry

I’m not going to dance on his grave, even prematurely.

But your statement is total BS on his actions of late.

What actions are those that he did out of self-interest, as opposed to for the good of the country? You mean daring to stick to his guns and to say from the beginning what is now so obvious to everyone, that Trump is a cheap carnival conman who has no business being anywhere near the WH, much less in it?

McCain hasn't seen a war he hasn't liked or supported in the last 30 years.

I’m anxious to see if Trump orders flags at half staff when McCain dies.

Re: Keating 5.

So you are opposed to government officials seeking to intervene into or block investigations into corruption?

Interesting.

He's not one of the good guys? Not a "Patriot"? Doesn't love America and Jesus?
