He can redshirt next year. If he's so good he starts next year, then he wasn't gonna be here 4 yrs anyways.

Guarantano will start...he’s better. Can’t seem to get through a season healthy tho. So maybe McBride backs him up another season and redshirts after Martinez,Penix or whatever other QB options we have can backup for a season.

And whose fault is it McBride had a bad game? Maybe the coaches. Since he hasn't taken a snap before . Who you think made the call for him to hand ball off a 100 times .Umm probably the coach. So yeah he could of looked better if he had a coach worth a damn.:banghead2: All on butch jones. He is worthless

I’ll remember that the next time Dormady throws 3 picks or JG gets sacked 7 times. It’s the coaches fault they had a bad game...

Yeah let me know when dormady throws the ball. Sure it will be some time after his shoulder heals from surgery..And sure JG will get sacked. Beacuse they don't have any decent block on offence. So yeah im sure you will let me know soon. Is this butch jones?:rock:

I was being sarcastic. Everyone makes excuses for their preferred QB. McBride didn’t look bad, but he was still 1/8 and behind on throws.

McBride should be your starter next week if JG is gimpy at all on that ankle. Don't run JG out there if he can't move and protect himself. Clemson tried that and got their QB killed. Their guy looked like JG after the injury and could not move. A big lineman got a hold of him and slammed him to the ground giving him a concussion.

It's good that McBride got a good part of the game, he'll need the experience if he's to lead us to Birmingham Bowl glory!

He will only get better with practice.

Definitely drops by receivers. Slot guys are needed and I'm guessing Byrd has hands of stone and needs to go to the defensive backfield and hopefully become a great corner for us.

I thought he did okay, considering he probably never thought he would play and only had a handful of good practice reps.

Yep I've seen him drop passes from QD, JG and now WMc.
I've always heard DB,s are wr's that cant catch,
Bryd may or may not be a lock down there's no history other than HS so who knows.

My wife hasn't watched Tennessee play this year until last night. After watching a few minutes she asked if we had anyone who could catch the ball.... Pretty obvious.
