Some cats suck. Others (like ours) are very sweet. I've found that animals are like people...treated with kindness, they'll be kind. Treat them with cruelty and they'll be mean. I could point to the fact that cats don't bark incessantly (like my neighbor's dog) or that they don't attack and maul children, sending them to the hospital, as some dogs do. But that would only be pointing out the mean dogs and ignoring the many sweet ones.

Our cat was a stray, starving kitten. Our vet once told me, "she knows you saved her life...I can tell by the way she acts with you." Before our sweet dog (Wilbur) died, they were best friends. She was depressed for awhile after he died. You can't tell me animals don't love. They absolutely do.

So I'm neither a dog or a cat person. I'm an animal lover.

I love animals too but I especially love dogs and like to tease cat owners on their behalf!

Nobody owns cats. Cats own them. ;)

Not to totally derail this thread, but we can only discuss the weather for today's game for a few more hours, so why not?...what kind of dog is yours? Ours was a mutt, but his head looked pit bull. Rescue, of course.

I've been to hundreds of games in Nissan stadium in all kinds of weather. It will not feel like the mid 20s unless you sit by yourself in the top row of the upper deck.

I have warm enough clothes to sit in any temperature. The $98 lower bowl tickets are tempting. The $40 parking and $43 resale fees (per ticket) are not.

I’m going to play it like Heupel’s injury updates - I’m a game time decision.

I believe I recall a Chinese MD telling me that the phrases to show possession in Chinese are "you own a dog" but "you feed a cat."

I might be misremembering that or it might have been a joke. Many Chinese have very dry humor.

And, to stay on topic, it's going to be colder than my mother in law's stare at the MCB...... and she's dead.
