You do realize that I'm a Pediatrician and am quite knowledgeable about the transmission of respiratory viruses, correct?
For the love of God. It's an outdoor venue, and it's going to be like 35 degrees.Winter Pneumonia: Why Cold Weather Increases Your Risk and How to Prevent It

And when the weather is hot in the summer time people congregate indoors also. Viruses have an easier time getting through our defenses in cold weather .Because people congregate indoors when it's cold, travel/fly more around the holidays, and colds/flu are transmitted by these little particles called viruses that are spread in close proximity.
Then hunker down, bud. They literally plow snow to the sidelines in Green Bay and Buffalo for football games, yet the fans pack the stadiums shirtless to cheer on their teams. And when the weather is hot in the summer time people congregate indoors also. I’m Chief not bud. Stupid, shirtless yankees prove nothing. I raise cattle for a living and work outside everyday the lord sends me. You may be soft but I’ve never been accused of it. I’ve had the flu several times in my 69 years and it was always in the winter. That’s all I have on this matter. Then hunker down, bud. The thought of people avoiding an outdoor football game in 35-40 degree weather for fear of catching a cold/flu is clear evidence of how soft we have become. Farmers, construction workers, utility personnel, etc work all winter outdoors.
There's a word for this kind of avoidance of certain situations, but it's not appropriate for this forum.
