JG from the mental side can’t figure it out. Give Maurer a shot and see what he can do. He will make mistakes but JG just doesn’t have the football recognition to ever be successful. The team also doesn’t seem to believe in him. You don’t see the leadership qualities you want in a QB. Chaney needs to go downfield and stop all the flat passes.

No he doesn’t and I hate it for him but the mental side cannot be fixed at practice. Some guys who have good physical abilities just don’t have the mental toughness to play qb and it’s the same way as a pitcher or golfer. Those sports/positions require great mental toughness not just physical ability.

I have to agree that JG seems to lack confidence and seems over whelmed figuring what to do....as if it's not a natural playing that position. At this point he should be past the "rattled" stage and making plays. Somethings lacking.
