I've tried to support this kid ... but I can't any longer. He is one of the glaring deficits of our beloved Vols progression. He just doesn't have the mental capacity for the role. I wholeheartedly support his heart, toughness and desire, he just doesn't have It where it counts; between the ears. I would rather lose with one of the underclassmen than wait for Guarantano to "get it" cause he's obviously not gonna'

Loss either way might as well try something. Florida doesn’t look like top 10 team but that shows how bad we really are

Absolutely befuddles me how we continue to run him out there. He must have some SERIOUS dirt on this staff to keep him in.

I'm watching this pathetic effort trying to determine how either Maurer or Shrout could be worse than JG.

I'd go for moving Jennings back to QB - anything to try to actually get some points.

He's getting grossly outplayed by a guy who hasn't started a game since 2015, only played mop-up duty last year, and never saw game action in 2017 or 2016. JG is pure garbage as a quarterback.

JG from the mental side can’t figure it out. Give Maurer a shot and see what he can do. He will make mistakes but JG just doesn’t have the football recognition to ever be successful. The team also doesn’t seem to believe in him. You don’t see the leadership qualities you want in a QB. Chaney needs to go downfield and stop all the flat passes.

And deserves all the negative reactions coming his way. Another pathetic performance for his QB and his defense. This is just unacceptable.

My preseason expectations couldn’t have been set any lower - make a bowl game and be competitive in every game other than Bana and UGA. They won’t even come close to meeting that ridiculously low bar.

Another dead fish coach running a locker room full of losers.
