Could anyone honestly enjoy coaching the Carolina Panthers? Would he listen to a UT offer? He has experience coaching both sides of the ball and has been a recruiting coordinator. It’s a little far fetched, but could it work?

Way too far fetched but why not try?

We need someone who’s coached college football can recruit and knows how to manage an SEC program

He has coached college football and has experience recruiting players to several different programs including Temple and Baylor. He hasn’t been in the SEC but I he has had big coaching gigs. Cut his teeth coaching about the time UT won the natty so he probably would view it as a pretty good job.

I’m not saying he’s lining up outside the stadium begging for the job but he’s making about 8 million per year. If UT would get serious about winning is it possible that he prefers the college game to the pros?

If he did, he wouldn’t be in the pros.

I don't think it would work, I've never seen 2 head coaches work alongside each other in the SEC.

Matt Rhule is currently on a 7 yr/$60 million deal. Any need to elaborate beyond that?
We could do 10 year 100 million isn't that what Jimbo got we need the big money people to get it together and get serious about winning. He has Joe Brady with him also maybe he could bring him. Could you imagine how much money Tennessee would make being a playoff team every year.

I know they just fired their GM but I have not seen any indication Rhule is looking for a way out. With a $60 million contract,up to $70 million with incentives; the money is obviously good in Carolina!
