I'm not saying Campbell should be high on our list. Someone that young running a program this size is a huge step up. That said he maybe one of the best young coaches that is out there currently. If we're going to take a risk on an up and comer this is the guy I would target. I would get Patterson, Frost, Fisher, Mullen, Fuente to say no. Most of those guys outside of frost are going to cost a lot to get to move.

have you watched him coach? I can certainly go for this guy. Signature wins against Top 10 teams at Iowa State?!?

Yet he has some astronomical buyout so i can't imagine UT would go for that. Isn't it something like 9 million?

Campbell's buyout is $9,575,000 which isn't too bad when you look at the likes of Saban's $26,900,000; Harbaugh's $20,555,000; Meyer's $21,345,000; and Petrino's $13,943,750. Jumbo Fisher's name has been floated around a lot as a UT candidate... his buyout is only $39,312,500. So, if we have to pay Matt Campbell's $9.6M, it might prove to be a great value IF he comes in and coaches up to his potential. He learned from one of the very best at Mount Union, but he still has a lot to learn... and given time he will grow into a great coach, I believe.

The last guy we hired that used to be the head coach at Iowa St turned out to be pretty good. I'm fine with this.

Wasn't a mature decision,hope he has learned from that decision. Kiffin has had his flaws to he is being successful.

Hey just having fun Mike is doing a good job.Nobody knows if he could coach in the SEC and be successful again.As all of these coaching names. We tried Butch I thought it was a good hire at the time.
