I kind of felt bad for UT and CCM when CBS mentioned the BBB petition during the game last night.
Depends if Hart is willing to pay for a replacement. Martin knows UT fans will turn on him on a moments notice. With next years talent, fans will jump back off the train if things turn bad. Surely, Martin knows that. If Martin misses the tournament next year, the grumblings will be loud and noticeable. Would you want to then be going into your 5th year knowing you're once again on the hot seat?
I have no idea what would happen if offered. Just hope we can give him incentive to stay. If Martin isn't the man for UT, he hasn't proved it yet. I would rather give Martin a couple more years than put the program through another coaching change. If Martin were failing, it'd be a different story, but he's on the rise, and pretty much has been since Missouri State.
