Haha this should be interesting. The true bipolar nature of our fan base is about to be on full display.

Not a big fan of Martin but I just don't know who we get if he leaves. It also makes it a certainty Stokes leaves and we don't get the transfer from TSU.

Not if we don't hire a good replacement it won't be.

Depends if Hart is willing to pay for a replacement. Martin knows UT fans will turn on him on a moments notice. With next years talent, fans will jump back off the train if things turn bad. Surely, Martin knows that. If Martin misses the tournament next year, the grumblings will be loud and noticeable. Would you want to then be going into your 5th year knowing you're once again on the hot seat?

I have no idea what would happen if offered. Just hope we can give him incentive to stay. If Martin isn't the man for UT, he hasn't proved it yet. I would rather give Martin a couple more years than put the program through another coaching change. If Martin were failing, it'd be a different story, but he's on the rise, and pretty much has been since Missouri State.

I kind of felt bad for UT and CCM when CBS mentioned the BBB petition during the game last night.

It was mentioned in all of our games, plus post-game interviews. I hate that it drew so much attention, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't deserve it. Those unreasonable fans got what was coming to them.

Then you can't say it would be the best thing for TN basketball if you have that big of a question mark.

Bro, haven't you been reading VN? That petition is the only reason U.T. made the Sweet 16.

He's still a gamble for shopping programs. I guess it just depends on what they want to offer him and whether or not he's still bitter about all the hate.

I spent a good portion of yesterday defending UT's fan base. However, after reading so many anti Martin comments in the last 24 hours, I am thinking I wasted my time. I guess, it has been a whirlwind what with being UT fans, then switching to Auburn, then hastily jumping back on the UT ship a few days later.

Martin leaves = Stokes leaves for the NBA.

Martin leaves = Incoming class may look elsewhere. Cofer, etc.

Stokes has indicated he would like to play football. Butch has said he'll sit down and talk to him after the BB season was over. If he plays football, he'll be back.
