Marcus Spears - I want to see Keller Chryst...

Simple question and I expect a yes/no answer from you only.

Do you consider JG to be equal to Jalen Hurts? Simple question with a simple answer of yes or no.
You can't answer a question with a question. You are acting like w/l tells how good the qb is. If that is the case then Jalen Hurts is one of the top five quarterbacks ever then right?

Jalen Hurts isn’t on our roster, is he? Once again, you thinking JG is some Heisman contender in a bad situation shows you are wearing tinted glasses.

The fact you consider JG equal to Jalen Hurts (which by the way you brought into this debate) is laughable.

How many points did the offense score with Chryst vs JG last week?
After JG had taken a beating and was injured via missed blocking assignments? Yeah great comparison. Chryst missed simple throws and looked pedestrian at best. He didn't show anything to make a case to start.

Chryst also made some perfect throws on the run. Amazing that people will cling to agendas just to prove a point.

I have no agenda. Best dude plays. It clearly isn't Chryst. And more importantly, the coaches agree. So keep clinging to agendas to yourself, coach.
So you think JG’s play hasn’t warranted any QB change? Even if for a series or two?

Not particularly, considering he's likely following his primary play calls (which have been awful today). And when I've seen Chryst, I've not been impressed. I've not been underwhelmed, but he doesn't do anything that says he can do things JG can't or doesn't do.

Except he has winning experience. JG doesn’t.

He also played on a much better coached team with a hesiman candidate running back in a much easier conference. And lost the job to a freshman. So there's that... Those coaches didn't think he was the reason they won either.

touchdown....by our JG-led offense......on his TD pass

Nothing like the QB taking credit for a swing pass behind the LOS where the Running back takes it to the house.... lmao. That drive was solely on Jordan and Chandler.

Oo kinda like giving Chryst credit for a 50 yard touchdown when he made a 10 yard throw? The man that's in is the man that gets credit.

Who's throwing those touchdowns against Georgia today? I'm no apologist for anything, but the best man is in.

Just to clarify, you’re saying the reason Chandler took that to the house was because JG made a swing pass behind the line of scrimmage? A simple yes/no will suffice.

Jarrett Gaurantano (sp?) looked shaky to him against Florida. He'd like to see Tennessee give Keller Chryst a chance to see if he can make some plays downfield.

Personally, I don't know if Chryst could lead the offense better as a starter or not but the QB play displayed last week is not winning football. For all the talk about the QB can't commit turnovers for this team to have a JG lays a huge egg in a game we needed to win. I know, I know the offensive line is not great but it is what it is. This is not 7 on 7 shell drills where the pocket stays clean.

I want our QB to be more than tough, I want him to know how to win.[/QUOTE we need experience ,quick thinking, field vision we have that QB ON THE BENCH !

You’re saying a 10 yard throw past the line of scrimmage is the same as a swing pass 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage? A simple yes/no will suffice.

He made the throw to the check down,so yes. Just like Chryst got credit for Murphys catch and run.

Haha your argument is getting weaker and weaker. I'm done. Our coaches don't share your opinion, and neither do I.
