Marcus Spears - I want to see Keller Chryst...

Maybe he’s not, at some point you gotta wonder why he’s taking so many of these big hits.

JG also needs to remember to secure his chinstrap. He has a habit of leaving the lower strap loose. Thus, his helmet slides off too easily. He’ll get a broken nose if he keeps it up.

Yeah that TD to INT ratio really proves it............................................................................

Oh my bad I forgot about that elite completion % which is really what wins games right?..right?
I think Chryst’s was 30% when Stanford lost to San Diego State last year...so it can LOSE games.

If KC had any ability, he would not have transferred but would be starting for Stanford. Not a great arm, not very accurate, slow runner. He May be able to read defenses better but we really do not know that because he has played so little.

So is the obsession with JG

Except JG isn’t constantly brought up by fans that simply don’t like the guy.

The back up QB is always the best option according to most VN experts.

Same ole story, same results.

There are so many examples to prove you wrong including one from our beloved university. I’ll wait to see if you figure it out

And KJ Costello at Stanford hasn’t been lighting it up either.

Marucs (sp?)

J/k

KC was a good qb at Stanford, so he knows what he is doing. Doubt it will make much of a different. Olin e is really bad and we dont seem to gameplan for that known weakness.
I read a lot more than I post and besides myself, this is this first time someone else has said something about game planning around our deficiencies. That’s what a coach gets paid to do. Coach the team he has. Why does coaches these days have to use their system? Use what you have to the best of its ability.

Let Chryst play the next three. Bench JG. If Chryst is not in traction after that, then let the best QB play. Otherwise, take the team to the hospital, do proper photo op, and let JG finish the season healthy and maybe win an SEC game somewhere in the mix.

Wow, looks like we game planned to get the ball away from the line. Theres a step in the right direction.

JG is 64% behind one of the worst OLs in football. KC was 50 some percent behind a good Stanford OL. Ha. What a joke

Yeah JG completes 2 passes on the first drive and we still didn’t get a first down. I think Chryst has led more TD drives for us this year. At some point try something different rather than just keep losing. It’s not bailing on JG as much as trying something else and maybe give him a chance to watch and learn (if he can do that and not pout)
