Looks like Tee was right about him all along.
Shame.
Let's see how it shakes out. I'm not so sure the bolded statement is correct.
There were all sorts of rumors that he was leaving couple of years ago because the OL wasn't good. I still say it's significant that he has never been looked at as a leader on his teams. Maybe I'm wrong, but wouldn't you expect a guy who has a chance to be the all time leading rusher to be looked at by his peers as a team leader? Flame me all you want but something is remiss here

I'm not so certain. Maybe running behind an offensive line that can't protect him and being stuck in a stubborn scheme that worked in the 90s is the issue here.
Jalen seems like a good kid, let's not belittle him. Let him go if it's what he wants. Hopefully, we will soon have an offensive coordinator who will actually utilize our talent.
I'll fess up. I'm anti 74. Not because I think he's a troll but because he has painted Hurd in a negative light regardless of truth. See how many people think Hurd is a self centered cry baby WITH the spin of Hurd's side and his side only. I said this in the rf, usually the truth is somewhere in the middle. Well if one side appears this way... imagine what the truth is? 74s post is all over twitter. Nfl gms see this. it's a red flag and Hurd doesn't have the resume or arguments to counter the locker room issues. I don't know why 74 thinks it is appropriate to air dirty laundry. I don't know his motivation. But this doesn't look good for Jalen and it lost him money and burned bridges for no reason at all.
Best case scenario is he tries WR or te and competes with athletes that have done this their whole career in TWO years when he could have just sat down, shut up and work with the staff to say it was a nagging injury until the end of the year. But no. He wants to be a drama queen within the locker room and allow a clown like 74 to speak for him in message boards and now twitter while being a reason a team meeting occurs.
At this point it really doesn't matter. 74s time here is done. Jalen is gone. Go Vols and to hell with everyone else.
