Mannings mooning incident on ESPN.

Unless Manning's legal team has more info than we do, there is no way I make a statement about this 20 year old incident.

If people would keep reminding themselves it's a 20 year old incident that has been settled they would realize what this is truly about.

Unfortunately, the media is running with this as if it happened in the post game celebration of the Super Bowl from 2 weeks ago. I'm sure Naughright is more than willing to capitalize on her new found "fame" by blabbing whatever she wants to whomever will listen.

It's a sad world we live in sometimes.

No he's not. ESPN isn't talking about Naughtwrights mental state. The public outside of Tennessee doesn't know how bat **** crazy she is. Manning taking this to her and lawyers would rectify it fully, if it's all untrue.

Agree. The truth is only being discussed locally here and in Denver that I've seen. Just yesterday, ESPN and NBC had Manning on the front page news with an article about how Notright contacted an abuse hotline in '96. The article went on to say that anyone with reasonable intelligence would infer that something more than mooning happened. Mentioned nothing about her being bat-**** crazy, then and now. So far, Manning has been chivalrous through this ordeal, but it would be nice to see him play tough. He's done too much good for something/someone so ludicrous to try to destroy his reputation.

Taking what to her? Is there anything new filed in 2016 regarding this case? If the answer is no, then Manning is dragging up a 20 year old incident that has been settled.

Violating the nda is the easiest one. Contact one guy in Texas and the case is closed. Shut her ass up by garnishing her wages for the rest of her life and donating it a charity. That'd be a true tea bagging

It's all starting to come out and both Naughright and King have been and continue to be exposed for the frauds/race hustlers/whack jobs that they are. National media member Jason Whitlock destroyed King's credibility last week. Fox Sports and Outkick the Coverage's Clay Travis is destroying Naughright on every form of media possible. Knoxville media has discussed how bat ish this b**ch is by reporting on her harassment of a UT associate AD which led to a call to the FBI.....her whacko Facebook posts have been brought to light...hell, even John Adams wrote an article destroying this idiot saying she constantly harassed his office at the Knoxville News Sentinel to the point that they ultimately had to ignore her.

If you think the "other side of the story/Manning's side isn't getting out", you should take it up with Hubbs, who very much believes it is.

Ultimately, Manning is a smart guy with a team of lawyers who will advise him accordingly. Like I said earlier, I can see both sides, can see why he might do either. But at the moment, his fight has been taken up by plenty of those wanting to uncover the truth, without him having said a single word.

Most of America doesn't pay attention to clay Travis. They watch ESPN, unfortunately, and they haven't made a single peep about it. Its only local.

In fact everyone you referenced is in Tennessee except whitlock. Thats it. Lol come on man.

Yup. Virtually none of my non-SEC friends have ever heard of CT. The only other places I've seen give attention to her craziness are Broncos/Denver outlets.

You might be right about people watching it, but I don't think anyone actually takes ESPN seriously anymore.

That network needs to go ahead and either die or show only sports at all times.

In the politically correct climate that now permeates everything in American society, no media outlet wants to ever be accused of 'blaming the victim' of an alleged sexual assault. So there is no vetting of the accuser... only of the accused. No media organization exemplifies political correctness run amok and it's inevitable double standards as much as ESPN. The Duke lacrosse case is the perfect example of this. Bob Ley and "Outside the Lines" did not place Crystal Mangum (who is now in jail for murder) under any scrutiny at all even though it was later revealed that she had previously made a false allegation of rape and had a criminal record. They covered that story religiously and hounded the accused for months. They were as guilty of the rush to judgement as anyone. Political correctness has made cowards out of journalists. There is nothing wrong with scrutinizing an accuser just as much as the accused but nobody ever does that.

Excellent post. So spot on. And the irony of your statement about political correctness making cowards of journalists.....while journalists have been absolutely vital to promoting and promulgating a PC culture. At the end of the day, political correctness is nothing more than censorship and an abridgment to the right of free speech.

Bob Ley and John Saunders are the two biggest pieces of crap on ESPN.

Peyton Manning has zero to gain by saying anything about a legal case that's been settled for years. The 'victim' is obviously losing credibility on her own every day without him saying a word. Team Manning is piling on if they pursue someone whose house is in foreclosure and obviously needs the attention and dollars from a 20 year old case that's been suspect from the start.

This whole rehash is still less than 2 weeks old. Let others pull on the thread that unravels the thing. She's already deleted her FB account, multiple sources are verifying that she indeed has a vulgar mouth and makes most of her living off litigation. I wouldn't call to a duck that's flying right to my gun barrel.

And at the right time, you shoot. Thats what Manning should do.

If there is proof (a recording of her admitting to it) that she leaked the documents, then yes, she would have violated the non-disclosure agreement.

Clay Travis made a good suggestion at the end of his broadcast. He said if he were Manning's lawyer, he would contact her lawyers and tell them Notright can either go on record telling the truth about the situation, admitting she fabricated the contact portion of the mooning incident, or he would take her to court.

It is more egregious than violating the non disclosure agreement in the settlement agreement.

The court in that case almost assuredly entered a protective ORDER that confidential materials in that case were not to be made public. She blatantly defied that order. That would typically cover affidavits, deposition transcripts and the like. I would pursue contempt of court orders against her and any reporter who knowingly used such materials. It would be up to the judge to levy the sanctions.

She's just getting handed more rope to hang herself with. Isn't the Peyton thing Double Jeopardy because he settled 22 years ago.

If she had 33 episodes of sexual misconduct...maybe she should learn to control herself :)
Hey Wadwhani, report this!!! King and Nausright colluded and she needs money, home in forclosure, it's all about the money and politics folks!!
