Mannings mooning incident on ESPN.

I wanna sue for expensive ticket prices. And high priced concessions. And paid parking. I think I might have a chance at a settlement. I hope the courts dismiss this because this is getting ridiculous. You can't sue for something that happened 20 years ago. They already settled that case anyways. And I think the university did everything right in indefinitely suspending any player being investigated for assault and letting due process play out. Everything is a money grab now. And why hasn't Florida been sued yet? I'm sure it will happen soon enough. SMDH 😒

I want to sue you for mentioning suing. As for Florida thats a good question. The New England Patriots and Florida Gators should pay for Aaron Hernandez wrongs.

Yeah i find it hard to believe that not one of his teammates knew about him being a murderer. These guys are suppose to be like brothers and they somehow don't know they have a psychopath on their team?

Urban Meyer did. His sebatical to relieve stress was probably witness protection program. I kid I kid.

Sad part is that Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption has made this 20 year old incidents a major part of thier show today. So much BS

I wish it had just been a "mooning". Unfortunately, it was much more than that.
Mooning was just a cover story made up by, former UT trainer, Mike Rollo.
That story fell apart very quickly when the matter came to light in court and the alleged "moonee" admitted that he was never mooned by Peyton.
Tea-bagging, as it's referred to by most folks, is actually what happened to the female doctor and that consists of physical contact - a form of sexual assault. It might be best if Peyton would just fess up to the whole incident and get on with putting it behind him once and for all. Once the whole sordid story is laid out in public, thoroughly examined and discussed by the media ad infinitum, and eventually smoothed over, it will be well on its way to becoming ancient history and nothing more than a footnote in the legendary career of one of the best there ever was in college and the pros. It might also help get UT past the current cloud of controversy that's hovering overhead in light of more recent events.

That is the thing, he cannot "fess up" or otherwise discuss it because it is covered by a confidentiality clause in the settlement agreements. The last time he made mention of it, he was sued again.

Better to just lay low and say nothing for a year and let it die on the vine.

I like how ESPN and the other outlets want to equate it with rape and domestic violence charges. It was wrong, but it doesn't rise to those levels in any rational mind.

Are you working for the plaintiffs? There is zero evidence of criminal wrongdoing, the criminal statute of limitations has expired and the matter has been settled in civil court. There is nothing to be gained-- and much to be lost-- by issuing a comment, especially one of the incendiary nature suggested.

I don't think it's accurate to say it was swept under the rug. It was covered extensively in the media at the time. The story ran it's course, as stories like this do. Now 2 decades later they want to dig it back up again. It's a bunch of crap.
actually isn't this the third time it has come up? I thought she did it again when he wrote his book and mentioned the incdicent without her name and sued him, saying she could no longer work at her job out of embarassment which made no sense because unless she said something ot folks how would they know it was her he was talking about?

The ridiculousness of our hyper-litigious society and the fact that "innocent until proven guilty" has been a myth for years is sad.

I mean seriously these days all it takes is an accusation to ruin someones life. Sadly, in practice the burden of proof is on the defendant not the accuser in most cases. It is sad all you really have to do is say I did a thing and I am pretty much toast.

She signed a sworn affidavit saying no physical contact between Peyton and her took place. So Mannings version sounds right.

If you believe that, then you are part of the problem.

Get accused of a serious crime you didn't commit and see how long you hold your position. I'm not talking guilt or innocence here, I'm talking about labeling someone a sexual offender before they have had a trial. These two guys, if found innocent or are acquitted, will NEVER outrun this.

I have zero sympathy for the so-called "victims" after the way this has been sensationalized by their lawyers in the media. This is clearly nothing more than a well-orchestrated money grab. Find the deep pockets and stop at nothing to get the big payday. The Peyton incident, such as it was, has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything that has happened in recent years and they know it. This is how a scam works. It's how criminals do business. And to me there's no practical difference between these lawyers and common criminals.

Sadly, these people will wind up walking away with thousands even after the lawyer's and other fees.

I remember the incident involving a female staffer in the locker room. It was big time news then and the "victim", I believe was well compensated at the time. Whether it involved just the "mooning" incident as reported or something more was not disclosed.

.

What about the sworn affidavit she signed that said no part Peyton's body touched her and his ass was in her face? Sounds like the victim says it was mooning. That or she lied the first time.

In November of 2010, Jamie Naughright filed a lawsuit against fashion designer Donna Karan and others claiming that she had been injured while receiving a massage in a therapy room in Karan's Manhattan residence. An attorney for Donna Karan wrote the following in a court filing:

"Naughright has an extensive history of filing repetitive lawsuits against or involving public figures, apparently having spent the majority of eight years (1998 through 2005) filing legal complaints against or about Peyton Manning... (some of which) had no basis in law or fact and were fueled only by Naughright's relentless search for revenge."

Naughright's litigious nature (is it a coincidence that she ended up suing the two most wealthy people she ever came in contact with?) needs to be scrutinized in this media push to condemn Manning and take every word that Shaun King wrote in The New York Daily News as gospel. I never do anything like this but I did e-mail Clay Travis to make sure he is aware of her 2010 lawsuit and this court filing by Donna Karan's attorney... I don't think most of the media is aware of it and I personally think it's a game changer as far as sympathy for Jamie Naughright is concerned.

I neglected to mention that Jamie Naughright's lawsuit against Donna Karan was dismissed (in other words, laughed out of court). Clay Travis is well aware of the 2010 lawsuit and is bashing her on twitter right now. I'm sure he will discuss it at length tomorrow. The narrative here is about to change.

Yep, her complaint was that she looked up and saw his ass. Couldn't have seen it if it were on her face.

Does bring more question to her credibility. Also, before the Manning accusation, she had filed grievances with the university for unfair pay, claiming gender discrimination. She was out for money long before any of the lawsuits.
