Did anyone see Peytons mooning incident is attached to this Title IX money grab now? On front of ESPN. These greedy people with vendetta need to go away...... with no more money than they arrived with.

Plaintiffs' attorney getting exactly what they wanted. Was on Mike & Mike as well. Slow sports news cycle. Nothing better than a juicy scandal involving a big star and University.

I have zero sympathy for the so-called "victims" after the way this has been sensationalized by their lawyers in the media. This is clearly nothing more than a well-orchestrated money grab. Find the deep pockets and stop at nothing to get the big payday. The Peyton incident, such as it was, has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything that has happened in recent years and they know it. This is how a scam works. It's how criminals do business. And to me there's no practical difference between these lawyers and common criminals.

I don't think it's accurate to say it was swept under the rug. It was covered extensively in the media at the time. The story ran it's course, as stories like this do. Now 2 decades later they want to dig it back up again. It's a bunch of crap.

This wasn't put together overnight. Lot's of planning went into a very well orchestrated and though-out character assassination on the University of Tennessee...my hats off to the perpetrators and I do hope you get what you deserve...:naughty:...:)

GO VOLS!

Well at this point there are few straws to reach for . I say do not settle . No more cards left to play in the media and not a leg to stand on in court.

What do you mean by "now"?

It's been listed in the suit from day 1.

well there are other incidents in the allegations, would it be better to just pay out some cash and make it go away,or have CBJ and the other sports have to try and recruit through it for the next couple of years ?

and when it is all said and done,if they do win and fight for a couple of years,it will hang over the school for a while to come,so it is a no win situation,I'm just hoping they can do something to make it go away in a hurry

Absolutely agree with you! Everybody is a damn victim these days.

If they settle this will never go away. Win in court and you are righteous !

If so by all means bring the merge dozer. However that doesn't change the fact that this has zero to do with traumatics and more like money sucking leeches.

No need to merge, but Manning is listed near the beginning of the suit in terms of the historical culture of UT sports. Simply listed for this sole purpose.

I wish it had just been a "mooning". Unfortunately, it was much more than that.
Mooning was just a cover story made up by, former UT trainer, Mike Rollo.
That story fell apart very quickly when the matter came to light in court and the alleged "moonee" admitted that he was never mooned by Peyton.
Tea-bagging, as it's referred to by most folks, is actually what happened to the female doctor and that consists of physical contact - a form of sexual assault. It might be best if Peyton would just fess up to the whole incident and get on with putting it behind him once and for all. Once the whole sordid story is laid out in public, thoroughly examined and discussed by the media ad infinitum, and eventually smoothed over, it will be well on its way to becoming ancient history and nothing more than a footnote in the legendary career of one of the best there ever was in college and the pros. It might also help get UT past the current cloud of controversy that's hovering overhead in light of more recent events.

They wont do it or rather cant. But they need to put every girls name and face in the media. These athletes get dragged through this plus Cheek, Hart Butch. Meanwhile those girls stay hidden waiting on a direct deposit.

What's really a shame is that Manning can't defend himself at all on this. If he mentions it again in any form, she'll sue him for the 4th time. I'm sure this terrible incident has caused her that much pain and suffering. If she doesn't want her name out there, she should sue Shaun King. That could further her agenda while getting rid of a pest.
