Mandatory Minimums

Well, if you think about it his name is really John.

Surprised you watch that show. You're like the 3rd person ever

It's good. It's like the Sopranos and Northern Exposure made a Norwegian baby.

Even if you're barely almost sorta right here...do you know what copd is? It got both my grandfathers, and will likely get me too.

COPD is a PC way of saying emphysema. It doesn't sound as bad. Cigarettes cause it.

Any of you guys that defend cigarette smoking ever work in tobacco? I have. When you go home at the end of the day, you are covered in that sticky black resin -tar. That is what you morons are sucking down into your lungs. And that is the natural stuff, not the 8000 toxic chemicals that Brown and Williamson and the others put in there for your enjoyment. Smoking is stupid, and when we get single payer health care, smoking related cancer should not be covered. There. I said it.

Pure oxygen man..... I was with the Blue Angels once and they got drunk as hell the night before....as did I..... They let me have a turn with the mask and the hangover was a memory
True statement. Back in the military days....

Do you think people have the right to do whatever they want with their bodies?
Can I answer? Yes I do. As long as I am not forced to pay to clean up their mess afterwards. Wanna smoke? Fine, you pay for your cancer treatment. Do meth? Go for it. When you run out of money at the hospital, you get sewn up, a pat on the ass, and the front door. Die in the street. You made that choice.

So any choice that might remotely effect you means you have a say in it?

If that's the case, i'm gonna have to ask you to put down your breakfast pastry

By all means please compare Meth to tasty thermal pastries. Makes complete sense.

Yep. I used to smoke. Quit almost 11 years ago to the day. Glad I did. Sadly I now find myself working more at work.

I've got a customer that refuses to apply by the TN smoke free workplace regs for this reason. He lets his guys smoke while they work.

Cant imagine. After years of suffering through smoke filled offices it was more pleasant to go home and not have to shed my clothes in the garage.

It's not as bad as it sounds. It's a big open shop and during the warm months they have 3-4 big bay doors open. It's a sheet metal fab shop.

It would be unbearable if it was an office setting.

I dont really care if people smoke..like in an industrial setting..as long as it aint going to start a fire. Bars, restaurants, stores, that is gross.

He's worried about his insurance premiums. I would bet the lives of all my loved ones that obesity drives up the cost of health care and insurance more than all the illegal drugs combined.
