Malone at the Combine

He's supposedly going to run again...really want to see what happens though the cramp thing is looming.

He'd be crazy to imo. Don't think his official time winds up 4.22, but it'll likely be sub 4.3 and the time of the day. Just roll with that imo.

The lack of film will make Malone a 4-5 round wr that will develop into one of the best WRs in the league. By the end of his career he will be considered on of the best steals in the draft. No one will ever over take Brady but he will be one mentioned.

After his comments during an interview I doubt we see another 5* wr during CBJ time here. Something about how other schools gave their WRs more opportunities to show their skills.

To be fair, Butch has had Worley and Dobbs throwing passes. You may be right, but I have a feeling that both options at qb are going to be better at giving receivers opportunities...plus upgrades on OL "should" pay off...hope sooner than later!!! GBO!!!

If you mean Malone his 2nd was a 4.45 which is a win for him. (Not so much for D4H)

Ross is done. Still waiting on "official" time.

4.41 on his first run is right about the 4.39 I thought he could hit.

We'll see if the official knocks him down a 4.39 or 4.40.

If he's not sub-4.40 then the best we can give you is you were "least wrong" about Malone. It's a dubious distinction but at this point you really need a win so I guess you take what you can get.

Yep, it's real early to making statements like that and it's slightly hyper bowl, but barring something bad happening, the kid is a real diamond in the rough and a born receiver. I can see that potential In him.

He'll be overdrafted because of that time. But I don't think he's a first rounder. Simply not durable enough.

I'll agree durability will be a concern. He's actually having surgery next week. Still, that kind of "house it on any play" potential will tempt people.

He had Peterman as an option too and didn't give him a chance over those you named. Now Peterman is one of the top QBs in this draft, and we have WRs saying they didn't get the production they would've at other schools.

Sadly I don't think JG will get the shot he deserves at QB as Butch will go with the more senior, but not as talented option. One thing about Butch is that he has proven not to pick the right QB unless his hand is forced.
