Im glad someone posted a thread with credibility. Now lets get down to business.


Here is what my understanding of whats happening. We are negotiating with Apple for Ipads for Steve Spurrier and Will Friend. The Ole Ball Coach will facetime the plays to call.

It's Tom Arth. I have a very connected friend in the Athletic Department at UTC and he says it is all but a done deal. Apparently the deal was brokered by Peyton, since the two go back to the Colts days. Arth was Peyton's backup. The reason they haven't announced it yet is apparently Arth had been informally offered and verbally agreed to the HC job at Akron. Arth made it clear that he wants to continue to be a HC, but the $$ and prestige of coaching at a power 5 school was just too persuasive. Once they get the details worked out, the plan is for UT to pull out all the stops with Peyton making the official announcement. The lawyers are the holdup - not Pruitt.

Tennessee dragging it out because they are going to promote from within. Hence no need to announce it the OC is not going anywhere he is helping with recruiting right now.

I have heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of mine that the new OC will be Peyton Manning. And that Fulmer plans for Pruitt to coach the Vols for three years while Manning gets some coaching experience in. Then he will let Pruitt go and let Peyton Manning become the Vols next Coach where he will then name Albert Haynesworth the DC and Travis Henry OC.

Ok, so when I got off the phone with Cutcliff last night he expressed dismay that the Vols would not commit the additional 5% to make it a whole 100% offer, so he has backed out. So I called Nathan Peterman to see if he had any OC leads and he said that his outsourced source told him last night at the Krispy Kreme on Broadway that Romeo Crennel was 60% sure he would accept the position, but he needed Jimmy Sexton to help him increase that to 120%.........stay tuned......

Peyton Manning is deciding on the GM job at Oakland/Las Vegas or the OC role at UT. It is a tough decision with Gruden with the Raiders and his old buddy, Fulmer, as AD at UT. Poor fellow is in a tough position and needs the money.

Joe Flacco has decided to retire since Lamar Jackson took his job. Flacco is Pruitt's 2nd cousin's wife's cousin, and said he would be interested in the job for 4 Mill a year. JP is thinking about it.

Doyle has announced that if Quarles is the OC, he will transfer since Tennessee would never punt again.
