M. Griffiths thinks Hurd should return

If he ask, let the team take a silent vote by ballot. It can't be a 51-49 vote. It's needs to be a 95% or better vote in his favor. Not everyone likes everyone but, more than a few against him could run all team chemistry.

I think he's typical young college student who made some bad decisions. His parents and family really let him down. It's right to support your children in everything they do except when it's a bad decision. In the end, I don't think we really know the whole story. We all questioned why Jones and Debord ran him up the middle over and over when it was proven there was little chance of success. I too would get tired of running into a wall every other play.

If he would've stayed we would be talking about him trying to become the first 4000 yard back at UT

Ridiculous to consider him coming back.

Once you are cured of cancer would you ever ask for it back again?

NO.

I didn't read, but like most on this board I have an opinion. It would flat out be the best thing for Hurd if he returned to UT and converted to TE. I just don't know if it would be best for us.

No matter what happened at the end it looked like the kid played hard for us when he was on the field. He's young, and I think he became overly convinced that he was the messiah of the team, and had an emotional meltdown when it became evident that he wasn't. The reality that he was no more than a meaningful piece to the puzzle was too much for him and he lashed out.

If that's the way is was, and he can get it together, apologize to everyone for his behavior, and get his mind right, I'd love to have him back. If not, so long.

If the team and coaches wanted him back that's their call anyway, not ours.

Having said that I'd be genuinely astonished if it happened.

John Kelly is our feature RB now...Go play at Memphis or some other worthless football program who will think your hot stuff...Unlike many places, It is a privilege to play at UT...You went away mad, now just go away.

....been holding that in, huh?

Players should be left to make that decision.

I'm all for it. He could use the guidance of these coaches. VFL, right? Think some of you have forgotten what that means.

The team probably would not want Hurd back and team chemistry seems to be better since he quit the team.

OR... He goes in front of the team, repents, works out his problems with Jones, and contributes.

He said he'd play WR supposedly... offer him that

If he can work the issues out and the team can accept him.... He needs to make things right and this team needs talent

Everyone does deserve a second chance, his is not here though. You don't allow this kid to come back, not after the stunt he pulled and the way his family reacted.

What a turn of events in a year Albert Camaro was a back up and now a potential first round pick and Hurd can't find a home

Right. The idea that we absolutely shouldn't is just stupid. If the team can't bring him back without everyone catching "cancer", we have bigger problems. Who cares what Hurd deserves? If we are better with him, then we should take him back.

Buncha women scorned up in here

Utah's RB walked out on his team 2-3 years ago...the coaches asked him to come back last year and he dominated the PAC 12.
