I’m really not sure, but it’s unfortunate that this call is consistent with the way I’ve seen similar plays called this season. I think it’s a terrible rule and situation unless it’s 100% obvious that the batter is attempting to get hit. This one was debatable which IMO shouldn’t be a part of a championship series.
