I just don't understand why we can't score with those kind of numbers. Tyler Bray had 4 400+ yard games and we averaged 49.5 points in them. It's crazy to get an excellent performance yards wise but its baffling to not be able to turn it into points.

Not blaming JG for this, but can't explain it.

No way we win that game with Mauer at QB. Mauer almost got Calloway killed on the one pass he threw. Not saying Mauer won't be good, but right now, he's got a long way to go to be as good as JG.

That's all JG has needed--confidence that his OL will give him time to make the reads. The OL was really good tonight, giving JG time to make the throws on 3rd and long, which was the key to the win.

I am so freakin happy we won, but I would in no way say Guarantano silenced his critics. He played his tail off tonight, but there were still too many plays where he overshot receivers and held on to the ball too long. But GBO, we going bowling!!!
