If you lost all respect due to this shirt, it's likely you never had any. IMO it's gross to use Pat's legacy to bash Dawn, esp over something this silly and inconsequential.

The OP is entitled to his own opinion, however whacked, but not his own facts, even in this scary post truth world.

If the actual truth mattered, an easy Google search would show what Rooster is saying is true. Dawn has praised Pat endlessly, beginning way back while Pat was still active and around to hear it. Hard to think of any non LV who has consistently shown more love and respect for what Pat contributed. For the record, Pat loved and respected Dawn as well.

Why do you expect all of women’s basketball to worship Pat? A lot of high school players being recruited across the country right now probably couldn’t even tell you who she is

No one is called to "worship' Pat, but anyone that cares about WBB and knows the history should be respectful and grateful for her legacy.

One of the reasons Dawn has always been so respectful of Pat is that she actually directly lived what Pat made possible. Dawn very well remembers what the game was like before Pat, and what her chances to be where she is today would have been without her.

South Carolina had their We Back Pat game on Sunday against Georgia. Nobody here is going to make you like Dawn Staley, but this is just looking for something to be angry about.

Exactly LV fans regarding Pat are just as bad as Alabama fans were regarding Bear Bryant. Both were great coaches in their time but the LVs havent won a Nattie since 2008 so that means most HS recruits this year weren't alive the last time they won it all.

Pat did not invent womens bb, she wasn't responsible for it becoming an Olympic sport and she's not the greatest coach of alltime . Check her head to head record against Geno, their number of NCs and their alltime NCAA tourney record.

She is the female equivalent of Arnold Palmer. Arnie didnt invent the game but he sure as heck was responsible for it becoming popular with the masses and he is not the greatest golfer of alltime. Pat is to Geno as Arnold is to Nicklaus.

I cede that he has had a better winning record but he also has had 13 more years to pad that record and to surpass all of Pats accomplishments. GOD only knows how many more wins he would have been behind her if she had not suffered from her illness. That is lucky for him and sad for the rest of us. The start he got with Rebecca Lobo gave him a quick boost up. Lucky bum!!!!! BUT, at least he kept it up and never settled for second best ever.

In life you don't have to like people to respect them... I respect the HC's in SEC but I don't like any of them... Dang I don't like some Tennessee fans and I'm sure the felling is mutual.😂😂

Not denying Geno's best all time women's coach/recruiter & greatness but the conference they play in is auto cupcake wins. You can just chalk up wins and have glorified practice scrimmages players rested up by time March madness but they did & have won the most Natties.
