They do respect a lot of the game's rules, but the across the board officiating in the women's college game is downright atrocious sometimes. A whole lot of "that didn't look fair so we're calling a foul" in the game.
And then you have Caitlyn Clark, who takes (or took)
three steps on a lot of her shuffle-to-a-stop three pointers ... which are a lot of her shots. Especially the ones where she would shuffle to the left or right of her defender, those were sometimes even four steps - no whistle. Don't know that I ever once saw her whistled for it, and it's been a habit of hers her whole career. Still does in the
WNBA too.
