This is ridiculous! I sure as hell hope they come out soon and tell us why they chose to do this AGAIN. I am hoping it is because they know something we don't as far as future schedules and adding teams to the conference schedule. However, it looks terrible to have a team come to your house and play and then not return the favor. I mean if you buyout before you ever play thats one thing.....to have them travel cross country and play in your house and then not go out to their place is chicken ****!!!
One thing that can't be denied though.....we have money on The Hill. Between paying former coaches as if they were still here, lining up tickets and money for a former AD, building a new football facility, paying inferior opponents to come to Neyland and buying ourselves out of any tough opponents, we are not short on the cash flow.
This is a sad day and anybody trying to reason this decision is sad as well.
