That chart doesn't tell you anything. What would be telling is a map showing where in the county that tax revenue comes from. Nevemind the fact that it's absurd to compare Shelby county to Clay county in terms of total revenue collected. Keep strutting on that chess board though Mr Pigeon.

I find it really ironic that the same people who decry that systemic racism is the evil of all evils are mad about the abolishment of systemic racism. Y'all have shown your true colors on this one. If you want to call the tariff a tax, the average Virginian (or Tennessean) incurred more cost from 2025 Trump tariffs than they saved from their increase in their tax refund from OBBBA.

Just saying...

Both maps are grotesque.

Watched 1/3 of the Tennessee 3 start a fire to a paper consecrate flag. That was pretty cool and a reminder that he’s under the party flag that produced Nathan Bedord.

The tariffs are onshoring manufacturing. That will create American jobs. That will raise tax revenue. It will take time however. What we have been doing isn't working. It is past time to try something else. Business is already showing growing revenues and future guidance is up in almost all sectors.

You do you though. Keep waxing nostalgic for higher taxes to Uncle Sugar and fewer jobs for Americans, because with the Socialists, that's what you are going to get. Ask former Spirit employees how a democrat administration worked for them.

95% of what has been called as "investment" is normal cap ex or has been in the cards long before Jan 2025.

Our issue isnt tax revenue, its govt spending. Which has only increased to all time highs under the current admin.

Again, you cant cheer this and cry foul about Virginia. Or vice versa.

Most people are too ignorant to understand that tariffs are the way the U.S. federal government used to get money. We taxed foreign countries not our own citizen's income. There wasn't any federal income tax. I hope we go back to that.
