Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

Do you pay for baseball season tickets? Some of us have watched some pretty bad baseball in a subpar stadium for a long time. Glad for the improvements, but have to be honest about the end product.

Have you seen pricing? I have quality seats that have gone up a significant amount, and still no access to any real amenities. I have better access to amenities with general admission seats at Smokies Stadium. Granted, I’m indifferent to whether the Smokies win. When you attend 25+ games, plus buy regional and supers tickets, these are things that come to mind.

And minor league ball does all kind of fun promotions. Despite success, the UT midweek games are still sparsely attended. Do you think they’d draw better with half price beer? I do.
Sounds like you just want a cheap drunk game

@NighthawkVol because it’s some sort of presentation, the only way I can post a link would give up my source as soon as it was opened. Is there something in particular I could screenshot for you?
Thank you for checking. I am just curious if they still plan to complete the plaza outside the south end of Neyland Stadium before the 2026 season.

Here’s the overall status plus hopefully what you’re looking for.

Thank you for this! Really appreciate it.

Looks like they are sticking with the plaza plan. That's good. UT seems to kick projects down the road that would improve the campus aesthetic and then just abandon them.

I love a lot of the projects in the 2023 Master Plan, but I wish some were sooner. McClung Tower and Humanities are eyesores. They're set to be replaced in the long term plan (10 years out). I wish that were sooner. Same with renovating Andy Holt tower, another eyesore. Regarding Neyland, they really need to fix the river side aesthetic. It's the side they always show from the river, so rusty beams is a bad look. They should have addressed that 15 years ago.
