Life is too short

THE SITUATION

I wonder what would happen if someone who was just an average fiddle player showed up at that same place next week and began to play. Since most of the people who were aware of this article probably would not recognize the fiddler anyway, I wonder if they would crowd around to hear the artist at work. Some may pay good money for the privilege of hearing. Hey, you don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Sounds like a money making opportunity for some industrious fiddler.

My wife RV is a perfect example of stopping and smelling the roses. When she was 28 her heart was attacked by an agressive bacteria called para-influenza II. By the time she was diagnosed it had already eaten away a lot of her Mitral valve. Doctors gave her a 50/50 chance of survival. After 30 days of intense anti-biotics thru a pic-line inserted through her arm at the elbow into her heart, she won. It tooks weeks for her to walk by herself again and to do even the simpliest things. She lives everyday as if it were her last and has inspired me to do the same. Congratulations RV! She made it to 40 this past weekend. We know eventually she will have to have heart surgery to replace the leaking valve, but for now she literally stops and smells every flower she comes across.

That is the whole point of this exercise.

I predict a wave of subway violin theft following this article. Book it.

Reading comprehension here is astounding isn't it? Just because the violin is valued at 3.5 million dollars doesn't mean he put down 3.5 million dollars. It could be a Stradivarius violin, which is an extremely rare, and one of the most well crafted instruments in the world (there is a temperature controlled case of stradivarius instruments in the Smithsonian if that gives you any idea as to how special these are).
