Lets take a deep breath before we run Dooley out of town.

Poor Dooley--and us: We cannot catch a break to save our lives. I blame Bray: Great game but you have to get rid of the ball. Great games that end in losses are losses--and he's done this two or three times this year.

Bray should've blocked Clowney too I guess

I'm tired of losing. Enough is Enough. Time for Dooley to go before we get lower than where we're at which is rock bottom. There is no way that Dooley can recruit the type of players we need to compete with the upper echelon of teams. He has to go.

After taking a deep breath, I am now ready to run Dooley!

Everything rises and falls on leadership. Dooley is not a leader who can lead a team to win.

Dooley will be ok. He will get 6 mil to leave.

We need to move on with a proven coach who can win and lead us to win championships again.

No. No more. I posted this elsewhere and want to reiterate:

Worst loss in Neyland Stadium history (by 35 to Oregon, 2010)

Worst SEC season in Tennessee history (1-7, 2011)

First loss to Kentucky in 26 seasons (2011)

Worst loss since 1981 (7-49 vs. Arkansas, 2011)

Tennessee becomes only the second SEC team in history (Vanderbilt) to start three consecutive seasons 0-5 in the SEC (2010, 2011, 2012)

Worst stretch of losses to Alabama in Tennessee history (by 31 points each year, 2010, 2011, 2012)

Worst loss to LSU in Tennessee history (by 31, 2011)

Yes, he walked into a tough spot. Yes, the team is better this year than last. But you have to win when you have opportunities. Sure, switching to a 3-4 is going to be tough, but when your JOB IS ON THE LINE you don't get to use that excuse. Not to mention that even with the switch, this is the worst defense in Tennessee history. Growing pains? No. This is just a poorly coached team.

We have FOUND ways to lose. LSU, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi State...we have made it an art form. That's what teams like Vanderbilt and Kentucky do, not us.

Enough is enough. He's had three years to show us something...he's had three years to get a win that matters. Instead, we haven't done anything. That's enough. It's time to make a change.

Ok guys lets settle down before we get something we might regret next year. If our defense had been any better we could very easily be 7-1 instead of 3-5 with the Alabama game being the only game we didn't even compete in. We were up on Florida then our defense gave up the big play to many times and we end up losing to a team who is number two in the BCS and who USCe and LSU couldn't move the ball against. Georgia we end up batling back from being down 28-10 to only losing by 7 I know we all want to blame Tyler for that game me included but if the defense wasn't so shakey then we could have one that game. We were in that Miss. St. game until the very end when TN gave up a garbage td late that didn't really mean anything, to me that was a three point game but again because the defense is still shakey we lose by 10. I'm not even going into the Alabama game we didn't even show up for that game. The Bama game and the Akron game early have been the two most frustrating game this year. Then today I am proud to say that we have the best offensive line in the country period who contained the best pass rusher for the entire game except for the very end and we had to battle the refs as well. We have also made significant improvements in the game besides defense. We are second in special team yards thanks to CP, when on Dooley's first year we couldn't even field a punt. We are averaging somewhere between 130 and 150 yards rushing a game where as to last year we couldn't pull a hundred. I hope that with one more year we can sure up our defense and watch our alignment on D and on special teams then no matter what our squad looks like next year with who stays and who goes that Dooley can get this thing turned around lets at least give him through November then if November goes south then we can have our debate on the next headcoach. This is not that bad of a team we are close and it is easy to see that our best coaches are on offense and not on defense. Dooley is not the problem.
Noble post, but this is Tennessee! Dooley has had enough time to win some significant SEC games. The staff turnover, with suspect recruiting, has led to the state we are in. This is a poorly coached team. Every team he has coached, is poorly coached. Only way he gets another year, imo, is if we win out and win a bowl game against a good team. Even then, I call him in and tell him, if he doesn't win the east next year, he will be fired.

Mid way through a brutal schedule with another new defense and new coaches... I'm off the dooleymobile too, but a new coach means more time in the dumpster (2 years?)

I don't know what to do but shake my head. I really hate it for the guys who fought hard today.

No, it's time. I don't hate the guy like some here do, but it's clear there needs to be a change.

Hating the guy is stupid. He's tried hard. He's passionate about this program. The results are not happening. He's gonna make a lot of money on the buyout and not even have to work. I for one am thankful for his effort. It didn't work out. Time to move on.

Dooley hired the coaches & they work for him. He is the problem
he knows the fans, administration is unhappy, he should be making changes in week 2 ,3,4, not at the end of the season . Hell he could even take over defense if thats what it took to win. He's the boss!

Exactly Dooley has recruited and coached this team to a top team, IN THE BIG EAST. We need to get a new coach while there is still some actual SEC talent on the roster. If we wait and Dooley gets to completely waste Bray, Hunter, CP and the Olines college careers we will have a roster just barely better, talent wise, than when he got here.
As for the guy saying this was Brays fault and he needs to get rid of the ball faster while saying we have the best Oline in the country. Well if Bray didn't get rid of the ball fast and tossed it out of bounds alot this season then the Oline would've been credited with giving up alot more than the 3 sacks that they have. Bray is not the problem and neither is any other player on the offense. Its the play calling on offense and the so called "talent" that Dooley has recruited to the secondary on defense. Every year he has brought in a hand full of DB's and safeties and yet we don't have enough SEC worthy talent back there to even fill the starting spots let alone have depth.

Its Time. Hart will not wait till the end of the season to find his man, I dont believe.
Dooley wont officially be fired for four weeks, but today was his waterloo, and he failed, yet again. We are the ONLY TEAM in the HISTORY of the SEC that has started three straight seasons 0-5 in the conference, except for Vandy. Not even KY has ever done that. That cannot be tolerated, EVER, at our school. He must go.
There will not be 70K at the Troy game next week. Tickets will be laying on the sidewalk everywhere...........ITS TIME.
