Coker had too many chances as it was. Four times he failed a test, obviously a complete idiot would only continue doing something he knows is going to jeopardize his playing opportunity, his education, and the possibility of having a NFL career one day. I dont feel one bit sorry for him, they gave him plenty of chances.
Just if anyone really cares:
LaMarcus Coker Career Stats:
Games: 18
Carries: 153
Yards: 865
TDs: 6
Just about 700 yards short of even coming near the Top 25 rushers in Tennessee history.
only a complete idiot? Ive seen phd's, ceo's, business owners, multi-millionares, etc all brought down by addiction. when you point a finger at someone there are three more pointing back at you.
Its all cool man![]()
I just can't figure out why we should "show him kindness." We showed him kindness when we offered him a full ride to play for 4 years in an NFL pipeline. He let down not only himself, but all of his teammates. The University is showing him more kindness than he deserves by letting him stay in school. I wish him well, but he really hurt the school and his team.
when you're young sometimes you just make mistakes.....just ask Bush (1 DWI) & Cheney (2 DWIs).
If you're going to question his ability and talent than save it. His production was a result of the same thing that got him kicked off the team. Had he been out of the doghouse, he would've been a star.
and drive home.
It's amazing the sense off entitlement people feel to have athletes entertain them for free.
