Who would you have as coach for this Alltime All Star team. I would have to go with The General. But watchout' someone will say Fulmer because Manning could not run Neyland's single wing the an anti-Fulmer sends a retort and before you know this splendid thread is in the Fulmer Depository. :birgits_giggle:

Thank you, the funny thing is that he sounds very similar to Eric Westmoreland. :hi:

Charles McRae is to Bruce Wilkerson as Clay Aiken is to Chuck Norris.

You are to Vol Nation as Chet is to Weird Science

Not another Fulmer war please  .

If we're going to have an alltime Tennessee team, then the coach would have to be the General, with Chavis and Cut as his coordinators.

someone needs to give Raynoch Thompson some love.

Raynoch was one of my favorites of all time and a very good LB, but I'm sorry to say that he most likely isn't in the top 5 greatest LB's at UT

I think a more realistic appropriate way would be decade teams.Too many great athletes are overlooked this way.IMO.

Chuck Webb was a far better college back than Jamal or any other UT RB before him or since him.

Refresh my memory, Vol67, could Webb catch a pass out of the backfield? I remember that Reggie Cobb had very good hands but conversely Johnnie Jones was a terrible receiver and it was said that kept him out of the NFL. Maybe we could have a thread of the "best hands" backs. (Anyone nominating Coy Anderson will be banned permanently).

Everyone who lists Reggie White remembers him coming off the end, yet his election as All-America and every UT listing I've seen places him at Defensive Tackle. I placed him at DT in my list.

Just pointing out a peculiarity....
